Donghyun's POV.
It was a Saturday morning as I walked down to the cafe nearby. Everything was normal. There were couples making out, children playing, and friends hanging out.
The only difference there really was is that it was snowing. Hard.
To the point that I wore a hoodie inside of my coat along with a thick scarf to keep me warm.
I entered the cafe and was greeted with the scent of coffee and cake.
"G'morning, Donghyun hyung." Daehwi greeted from behind the counter.
"Morning to you too." I greeted back.
"What'd you like? The usual?" He asked.
"Yeah."
"Ah, you're so boring, hyung." The younger pouted as he made the coffee.
"Yah. I'm a college student who needs lots and lots of caffeine. You high schoolers would never understand." I scolded.
Daehwi and I have been friends for 3 years now when we met at a mutual friend's party and we've been bestfriends ever since.
"Robusta Coffee for this sad piece of shit." The younger teased as he handed me the coffee.
"Hey!" I smack his head and take the coffee.
"Ow! You're so mean, hyung." He pouted, taking the money from my hand.
"I know that." I deadpanned.
"Anyways, I gotta go. See you tomorrow!" I waved goodbye to the barista who waved back.
I sighed as I exited the cafe.
I sipped on my coffee, feeling the caffeine get into my system. Fuck, I have assignments to do.
Rushing to my apartment, I heard a faint meow from an alleyway.
"A cat?" I questioned. No way, that meow seemed to... Different to be a cat.
"Meow." Why the hell is it meowing in a satoori accent?
Although the satoori accent was clearly visible, so was the dry and scared tone coming from it.
Carefully, I walked towards the dark alleyway and inside said alleyway was a big box. Like, a big box.
"The fuck?" I said to myself as I approached the box, the meows getting louder and louder as I came closer.
Upon closer inspection, there was a white tail sticking out of the box although it looks too big to be a normal cats tail... Unless this is some tiger in a box.
I cautiously open the box and inside sat a beat down human who had his knees up to his chest as he cried. His clothes were torn and soiled with dirt and white liquid...
He had a tag hanging off his thin bicep.
"Hey." I called out softly, startling the boy in the box.
What caught my attention the most was the white cat ears and tail coming out of the boy.
A hybrid? Usually only rich people own these and I am certainly not one.
"Are you okay?" I asked. What the FUCK did I just say? Of course he's not okay!
"I-I don't think so..." He muttered quietly as he shivered from the cold. He was only wearing a white oversized hoodie covered in dirt, blood, and cum.
"Do you want me to take you in?" I asked. The boy looked away from me cautiously.
"Will you hurt me?" He asks, voice small and hurt.
"No. I would never." I reassured.
"Uhm... Okay..." The hybrid said.
"What's your name?" I asked, removing my coat to wrap it around the hybrid.
"Youngmin..." He answered.
"Well, Youngmin, I'm Donghyun." I smiled and checked what was written on the dirty and worn out tag.

"We're here." I announced and I opened the apartment door.
"Take a seat down here, I'll prepare a ba-" Before I could finish my sentence, Youngmin cuts me off.
"I thought that you're taking me in to be your slave like the others?" He asked, tilting his head slightly to the side.
"Never." I reassured and made him sit down on the couch as I prepared his bath.
"Come on, bub. The bath is ready along with some clothes." I announced to him and he walked to the bathroom after saying a small "thank you".
Today's gonna be a long day.
