(Author was trying to become Woz from Kamen Rider Zi-O and opens up a book titled "Nepgear x Male Reader". He then turns to the page of Chapter 8 and begin his intro speech.
Author: A high school boy named (Y/N)(L/N) who is a millionaire has finally won Nepgear's heart in the previous chapter while they were standing under the sunset at the school rooftop. The event happens after they did some classroom cleanup with the others.
The time for their date together is coming soon. However, as we head to even more further into the story, unknown to (Y/N) and the others, they will meet his rival who has so much jealousy to him.

The scene changes to the school a day before the festival will be held.
(Y/N) POV
Today is the day our school festival will be held. However, I'm not going to be wandering around the school only for wasting my pocket money. I'm going to gain them instead thanks to my suggestion that Nepgear asked for us to sell last week.
Right now, it's the early morning. A few hours before the festival starts around 8:30 a.m. I was preparing the ingredients for the crepe and takoyaki at our food stall that our teacher was kindly enough letting us to use it for the entire day. As I was preparing the stove, Nepgear come by and greet me.
Nepgear: (Y/N)! I'm here!
(Y/N): 'I smiled'. Hey there, Nepgear!
She takes an apron on the table and wears it on.
Nepgear: So, are you ready to sell out our handmade crepe and takoyaki?
(Y/N): Of course. Besides, you're the one who wanted to.
Nepgear: *giggle* Sorry for dragging you into this.
(Y/N): No no. That's fine.
Neptune: 'She appeared out of nowhere... again'. That's right, Nepgear. He was just fine with it.
Nepgear and I just gave Neptune a blank stare. I also saw Uni with her.
Neptune: What?
(Y/N): 'I asked in a concerned voice'. What are you doing here?
Neptune: What else do you think I'm going to do here, simp protag? To look at you lovebirds, of course.
(Y/N): Simp protag? 'I looked at Neptune in confusion'.
