Aidens pov:
My hands on the steering wheel, the radio on, the sun shining bright.
My hearts beating fast.
I think he likes me. I hope at least.
My phone rings. Sofia.
I turn the radio off."Hey babe. How was your date?" Sofia's voice rings trough the car.
"It was niceee." I say.
"When can we go on a double date?""When that bastard awnsers my calls." Sofia says.
"So never?" I ask teasing.
"Ha ha." Sofia says dry.
"Where are you by the way?""I'm driving. I'm at Grove street right now." I say and turn left.
"Dude don't text and drive." She says.
"We're calling." I say.
"Ha ha." Sofia says in her sarcastic voice.
"Dude you should get a comedy award.""I know right." I say and chuckle.
"Alright, call me when you're home." Sofia says.
She ends the call.
I put my phone down on the passenger seat.
Not even ten seconds later I get a text.
From Daniel.Oh my God! He texts right after our date! That's a good sign right?
I try to read it but its too far.
I lean to my side to grab it.
I loose control over the wheel.
It all goes so fast. A tree. A willow tree.
A fucking willow tree. That's what kills me.
And I fucking love willow trees.
But doesn't matter now.
Right now, I'm still breathing. But I'm not alive.
I'm in a white room. Or maybe it's a void?
What ever it is, it's whiter than the dance floor when the macarena is on.
I see a silhouette coming down.
It's... Sofia! She is glowing, must be the lighting. Damn, she would take so much selfies here.
"Sofia!" I exclaim.
"I'm sorry dear. I'm not Sofia. I'm here to help you make your decision. I look like someone you love so you won't feel lonely in your first moments." She says.
"Okay, where am I?" I ask.
"The after life. I'm here so you can choose based on your religion." She says.
"You lived your life as a christian so you get to choose between heaven and hell." She says.
Then it hit me. I read an article about someone who was in a coma and 'dreamt' they where in heaven. Yeah, that must be it. I'm in a coma! I'm not dead!
"How did I die?" I ask. I'll just play the part. It's better than to stay here.
"A car crash. You didn't get to see the text did you?" Sofia asks.
"No, I didn't. I know it's from Daniel tho." I say.
"Hey Aiden. I had fun on our date. Too bad they got my order wrong. Looks like we have to do it over sometime. Can I pick you up at 7 this thursday?" Daniels voice echoes trough my ears.
