Third Person's POV

"Three years have passed since the fall of Jurassic World, the debate over Isla Nublar rages on."  The voice of Philippa Thomas, a reporter, says on the TV. "The island's long-dormant volcano, now reclassified as active, has shown considerate unrest in recent months," Philippa says, continuing the report on the volcano. "Theologists now predict an extinction-level event will kill off the lasting living dinosaurs on the planet." Philippa says. "Since the disaster that shocked the world in 2015, the Masrani Corporation has paid out more than $800 million in damages to settle class-action lawsuits brought by survivors." Philippa says as she continues to talk about the report.

"Activist groups have mobilized around the globe, in what has become the flashpoint animal rights issue of our time," Philippa says. "With an eruption expected at any moment... The US Senate has convened a special committee, to answer a grave moral question: Do dinosaurs deserve the same protections given to other endangered species, or should they be left to die?" Philippa says as she finishes the report.  "I think... that we should allow our... magnificent, glorious dinosaurs, to be taken out by the volcano." The voice of Ian Malcolm says while he was sitting in a courthouse. "Silence, please." Senator Sherwood says slamming the gravel on the table. Silence encased the entire room. "As deeply said as that would be. We altered the course of natural history. This is the correction." Ian says breaking the silence.

"Are you suggesting the Almighty is taking matters in His own hands?" Senator Sherwood asks the man. "Senator, with all due respect, God's not... part of the equation. No. What I mean is that, in the last century, we amassed a landmark technological power. And we've consistently proven ourselves incapable of handling that power. 80 years ago, who could've predicted nuclear proliferation? But then, there it was. And now, we've got genetic power. So... How long is it gonna take for that spread around the globe and, what's gonna be done with it? It ain't gonna stop with the de-extinction of the dinosaurs." Ian Malcolm says providing his answer to the senator's question. "But there is one more thing that we need to talk about." A man adds. "I'm not sure I know what you're talking about." The senator addresses the mysterious man. "I'm talking about the ones who have been granted supernatural powers." the man says. The room went silent. The man, very handsome at that, athletic build and an above-average height, his posture is like that of a military cadet, dark brown hair, blue-grey eyes, lightly tanned skin with the addition of a sharp chin and chiseled jawline, and a well-trimmed beard stand up from the crowd.

"What do you mean?" The senator asks the man about the subject. "I'm sure that everyone is aware of the fact that there have been rumors about children that have been administered in Grand Valley Hospital ten years ago, have shown exploits of having supernatural powers such as the incident that has to do with Jurassic World." The man explains. "I'm sorry, but who are you?" Senator Sherwood interrupts the man. "Oh yes, where are my manners, my name is Xavier, Xavier Calhoun." The man, Xavier, introduced himself as he reached into the pocket of his pants and flashed a golden badge. The senator raised a brow in confusion and shock. "And what does the FBI have to do with this matter?" He asked Xavier. Xavier put the badge back into his pocket. "As I last stated, there have been rumors about seven children that have been shown cases of  unordinary powers and I believe it would have to do with the same seven that have been registered in Grand Valley Hospital in 2005." Xavier explains as puts his phone down, facing up, on one of the desks.

A holographic screen appears in front of the crowd. On the screen showed small clips of three different teenagers who show different examples of powers. The first was a teenage girl about 17 or 18, seemed to have super strength as she rolled over a  school bus back onto the road, while the kindergarteners stood and watched in awe. The second was a boy about a year younger than the girl showed an example of controlling fire by showing that when he touched the fireplace at a campsite, he never got burned nor injured. The last teen was about the same age as the second as he displays an ability to move objects without any physical contact.  Silence fills the room once again The screen disappears and Xavier picks up the device as he looks at Ian then walks back to his seat. "T-Thank you, Mr.Calhoun." The senator says, breaking the short-term silence. Xavier then looks to Ian.

"So, you were saying something about change?" Xavier asked as Ian's face grimaced. Ian ignored the man and turned around to face the senator. "The kind of change I was talking about is... man-made, cataclysmic change." Ian says, continuing the conversation from earlier. "What kind of change?" The senator asked Ian. "Change is like death. You don't what it looks like until you are standing in front of the gates." Ian says as he finishes his explanation.
