A bolt of pure energy halts just in front of a hotel. The huge burst of electricity sends an EMP, shutting out the power to the entire hotel. Tylol looks up and views the hotel.

Tylol: Hm. Well, isn't that a problem.

Das gets up and falls back down. He sits up as he holds his head.

Das: Ya know, you could've warned me before you did that! Asshole!

Tylol: AH YES, TRAVELLING AT THAT SPEED WHEN YOU'RE NOT BUILT TO DO SO CAN BE DISORIENTING. BUT, IT WAS ONLY A SHORT DISTANCE! IM SURE YOU'LL BE FINE!

Das finally stands up and slowly walks up to Tylol. He looks up at the hotel.

Das: What the hell happened?!

Tylol: An EMP, I presume. It wouldn't have been a problem, if I'd known where you lived.

Das: Where'd you think I lived?!

Tylol: Perhaps an abandoned warehouse. Or, something along those lines.

Das: WELL, I DON'T!! I don't know what an emmpie is, but, can't you fix it?! Can't you power the place up with your electric stuff?!

Tylol: An E.M.P. is an electrical burst of energy, something that can knock out anything electrical, if powerful enough. As for powering the hotel, I very well could, however, it wouldn't be very wise. Powering up something via electricity in heavy rain isn't the smartest idea, especially not with my power. The best thing we can do is wait.

Das: UGH! THIS IS STUPID! YOU'RE STUPID AND THAT EMP STUFF IS ALSO STUPID!

Tylol rolls his eye

Tylol: Why not just head inside and keep your mouth shut.

Das: WHATEVER!

Das and Tylol head inside

It's dark and almost impossible to see inside. Lightning that strikes every now and then, lighting up the inside of the hotel is the only way das is able to navigate without bumping into anything.

Das: UGH! Are you sure you can't do anything about this?! I can't see a goddamn thing!

Tylol: Hm. Perhaps, I could find a fuse box inside. Though, like I said before, it be foolish to power with electricity in heavy rain. However, I could power some lights without any risk.

Das: Yeah, you go do that! Hurry up!

Tylol travels through electrical wires, leaving Das alone. Its almost dead silent, the only thing being heard are rain droplets hitting the windows of the hotel, and the crackling of thunder.

Time passes

Das: How long is that idiot gonna take! It's been like...2 minutes! I—

Das is interrupted as a flashlight is pointed at him, he turns to it

Will: Oh, thank goodness. Its just you, Das. I thought I heard someone else here?

Das: Hey. Uh, yeah, someone else is also here. He said he could fix some of the lights.

Will: Oh! Well, that's good to hear! Everyone has been complaining about the outage. Who's this friend of yours?

Das: He's not my friend, just someone I know.

Will: Oh. Well, it be nice to meet this certain someone!

Just as Will finishes speaking the some of the celling lights flicker on, its not enough to fully light the entire hotel, but its enough to see and navigate safely.

Das: Ugh, about time.

Will: Oh, thank goodness! Let's just hope the storm doesn't knock out the lights again!
