Part 19

It's Friday and after a very long day I finally get home from class and when I open the door I'm greeted with Christmas music and the foyer decorated from head to toe with Christmas decorations,

"You're home!", I hear my Mom say as she appears from the living room,

"What's happening in here?", I laugh lightly,

"Christmas is in 2 weeks! We've just been so busy with everything we didn't have time to decorate.", she says. She's right, with everything going on I forgot about Christmas,

"Y/n! Y/n! Santa's gonna come!", I hear Kora and Dawson yell as they run over to me,

"Really?", I ask as I bend down to their level,

"Yeah! He's gonna bring presents!", Kora says as he jumps up and down,

"You sure? Have you guys been naughty or nice?", I ask both of them,

"I've been nice! But Kora, she's been a little very naughty.", Dawson says and giggles,

"That's not true!", Kora pouts,

"I'm joking! Stop taking everything so seriously.", he says to her. Her smile slowly starts to appear again, before she looks at me,

"Are you gonna decorate the tree with us?", she asks me,

"Sure, but only for a little bit.", I say to her. They both run back to the living and I stand up,

"Where are you going tonight?", my Mom asks,

"I was going over to Jack and Lily's place.", I say as we walk to the living room,

"You've been going over there a lot.", she says,

"Yeah I know, it's just because they recently moved in and they're still building their furniture and setting stuff up.", I tell her,

"No I understand, just miss having you around.", she smiles and walks off before I can respond. What she doesn't know is that I haven't been going to their place, I've been going to parties and getting hammered, but that's how I deal with my emotions. Though tonight I'm actually going to their place, we're still going to a party, so it's a semi lie. I walk over to everyone and Bennett gives me a quick hug hi before he helps the kids put the ornaments on.

For the next three hours, we decorate around the house and by 8:30 I decide to get ready. I don't have a lot to do because Lily said she has a whole outfit planned for me and I'm kinda scared to be honest because you never know what to expect with her. So I grab all my stuff and I head over to their apartment. I arrive a couple of minutes later and when Jack opens the door he says she's already waiting for me. He follows me to the bedroom and when I walk in I see Lily looking at herself in the mirror,

"Okay great you're here!", she says and comes over to me,

"Your-", I go to say something about her shirt, but she cuts me off,

"Yes I know what you're gonna say, it is really revealing, but I'm an open person and no I'm not making you wear something like this.", she says and I nod my head,

"And you're okay with this?", I ask Jack as I look over my shoulder,

"I tried, but it's her personality and I trust her.", he says and I smile,

"Okay so, I went out and bought you an outfit, because everything in my closet, just wasn't giving me that feeling and whatever you don't want I'll keep! So I got you a pair of black jeans and I got two shirts. One of them I'm definite you're gonna say no to, but it's the one I really want you to wear, but then I go another one and it's still good, but not as good.", she says quickly as I try to keep up with her, "These are regular black jeans with holes at the knees no big deal, and then this is the first shirt.", she says and holds up a shirt that looks like it was made out of one piece of string,
