"Kirin? You in here?" Someone asked. Making small noises to indicate where I was hiding, a rather tall girl appeared. Brown skinned, with very soft looking hair. Her eyes looked like they held the world and stars and all the good things in life. I looked at her curiously. Not even realizing she was talking to me til she tapped my shoulder. "Was I boring you? If so im sorry." Though I had just laid eyes on her, my heart shattered. I tapped her leg to get her attention. It worked. She looked at me and I gave the kindest smile I could manage.

We walked out of the janitors closet together, my hand in hers while she dragged me back to class.
" Mr. Kim, can you explain why you ran out of class like that? You do understand that interruptions will not be tolerated." Gulping and realising how many eyes were on me I started to panic. "Help me" I whispered quietly so only 𝑺𝒉𝒆 could hear. She softly squeezed my hand while asking the teacher to excuse us and that she would take me to guidance. The teacher smiled and sent us both off.

"H-How did you know my name" she giggled "You didn't hear your name being called on the loud speaker?" My eyes became larger than normal and I hide behind my sleeves. She pulled me into a hug and patted my back. "Its alright. Just breathe" Her voice had a sort of like gentle concern, it was nice. We got to the counselors office while he wasn't there, but the office door was unlocked. I shyly suggested that we wait for him to come back. Did we wait? No.

She laughed at how nervous I was being alone with her in this dark room. "It isn't f-funny." I pouted. "Awh look at the pouty baby" she mocked me and tapped my nose. I realised that out of all of the 23 minutes I've been with her, I've never asked her name. "So uhm. What's your name friend?" I slowly asked her while her back was turned. She chuckled and turned around.
"My name is Xahana"
