"Yes, Appa, I'm studying well. No, I don't go out and party. I'm not like Uncle Jooheon and Uncle Minnie! Okay, Appa. I'm walking home now. I'll see you when I get home! I can't wait to see you too! Drive safe! I love you too. Bye!" Lyra smiled as she ended the phone call with her father. She was coming home from school for winter break and could not wait to see her parents. She had been constantly calling and texting her father the weeks leading up to her last day.

Lyra shoved her phone into her waistband and continued the walk to her parents' house from the bus stop. Both her mother and her father had to work so she decided to take the city bus.   Lyra turned her head around and noticed a man in a black hoodie walking at a quick pace towards her. She gasped and started to walk faster, knowing deep down that nothing good would come to her if he caught up. As she was about to turn onto her parents' driveway, a strong hand clamped down on her mouth and she was dragged into an approaching car. She felt her phone fall out and watched as it cracked on the concrete right outside the gate to her mother's flower garden. She screamed into the man's hand and tried to fight but he was too strong. The man threw her into the back of the van and got in before the vehicle drove off. It would be days until she would be seen from again...
