The pink hair girl walked to the front of the school with one of her straps on her bag over her shoulder while her keys were in her opposite hand. There weren't many students there yet but she could still see some students through the glass of the door. Rose took a deep breath in before pushing open one of the doors to the school. There was light chatter that filled her ears but not enough to give her a headache quite yet. Rose entered the office which happened to be right by the front doors, Rose was glad she wouldn't have to wander all over the place to find the office. There was a blond lady sitting at the reception desk, typing something on her computer.

Rose approached the desk and stood there for a moment, waiting until the lady was done typing. The blond lady looked up from her desk with a large smile across her face, her eyes instantly lit up upon seeing Rose. "Oh! You must be Rose McCullen, am I right?" The lady asked and Rose nodded her head in affirmation. "It's very nice to meet you dear! My name is Kallie and I'm the receptionist." She stood up and held her hand out to Rose. Rose smiled back at the women and shook her hand.

"Nice to meet you Miss Kallie," Rose responded in a strong and friendly voice. Rose was an incredibly friendly and kind person. She loved helping others if they needed it, and depending on what it was, and she never showed anyone any kind of rudeness. Although, she would be snarky and sarcastic if they were rude to her though. That's just how Rose was though.

"Well, Mr. Atkins is waiting for you in his office- he's quite excited to meet you!" Kallie motioned Rose to follow her.

"Why is that?" Rose asked as Kallie led Rose down a hallway within the front office. Rose took note of her surroundings so she would be able to make it down this way again in case she needed to see the principal. That probably wouldn't be the case though, she never really needed help from anyone. Even if Rose needed a little bit of help, Rose would try to solve her own problem until she really couldn't do anything.

"Do you know the population of River Valley?" Kallie chuckled. "It's not very often people move to this small town and attend this high school. Some of the students who attend aren't even from River Valley but are sent here since River Valley has a very high graduation percentage." Kallie explained which caused Rose to nod her idly. "Anyways, this is Mr. Atkins office!" She gestured towards a door with the nameplate Benjamin Atkins written in bold letters on it.

Kallie knocked on the door and opened it once she heard a "come in" from the principal. Kallie gestured Rose in first while Kallie shut the door behind herself and left to her desk once again. The principal looked up from whatever he was working on and smiled at Rose. "Hello there, please have a seat," he gestured to one of the chairs sitting in front of the desk. "My name is Mr. Atkins and I'm the principal of River Valley, it's such a pleasure to meet you Miss McCullen." He held out his hand and Rose shook his.

"Thank you, sir," Rose relaxed in the chair as she still had her backpack over one of her shoulders. The butterflies Rose had felt before seemed to have vanished mysteriously, it did help that the staff members were so friendly to her.

"So, where are you from, Rose?" Mr. Atkins asked as he leaned back in his chair, intertwining his fingers together.

"New York City," Rose replied. Rose spent his younger years in the city and she didn't like it that much. There were lots of loud noises and constant action happening. Rose was glad when they moved for the first time but it was so sad saying goodbye to her best friend. Rose still kept in touch with her and texted her quite often, it was just difficult for them to see each other in person. They planned on doing that after high school though, or the next time they had the chance to. It was difficult for her friend to make plans to see Rose considering she was always moving anyways.
