Tuesday didn't seem the same without him. "Where is he?" Shilo wondered to herself. Unbeknownst to her, Eric Draven stood at the foot of her doorstep. He climbed the fire escape to avoid running into her father, Nathaniel Wallace. The Crow would enact vengeance on him, but it wasn't time yet. Shilo pursed her lips standing still before Eric could bring her into an embrace melting a sheet of cold from her body.

Hours later, and Shilo became the woman Eric loved. Her defenses were down and she was in a playful mood egging him on towards bed. How could he resist her?

The night flew faster than the wings of Eric's guide as all that is left with Shilo is nothing but a memory.

The Crow came at his leisure but only to find Shilo disturbed cursing him off. "Where were you when I needed you?" she asked.

"Am I just a toy to you?" Eric avoided her question.

"I hate you!" she screamed as Eric sought after her.

"Go ahead," he yelled as the door opened welcoming her to society.

Pissed off, Eric followed in suit becoming a victim of circumstance with Shilo because of what was waiting outside and he knew very well what that was. Genecops. Shilo hesitated before the doorway. "Let me be your avenger," Eric offered, but Shilo had enough and wanted to venture outside like her dad did on duty as a doctor. She marched outside with little regard to Eric's warning.

Eric jumped through the shield of glass only to watch Genecops apprehend Shilo with a gun to her head. Time was of the essence, and Eric raced down the fire escape to come to her rescue.

"I didn't know," she squeaked. A Genecop, Grange, cocked his gun and felt the backlash of the firearm as the bullet pierced Eric Draven's abdomen.

Shilo fainted because help was futile to the man she loved. There was no way he could fend them off alone. "Hey, Shy," he cooed.

Shilo trembled moving shaking hands away from her face. "I'm immortal," he reminded her. The Crow smiled like a jester waiting for her response, anticipating the best. She stared and marveled in awe wondering if he was alive or invincible. The Crow bowed courteously before her. "I'll always be at your beck and call." he said. She just needed a friend in the world.
