Teachers like students who have good manners, and definitely those who get high scores in quizes and exam. If your teacher is conventional, she wants you to sit still and listen to her. If your teacher is creative and original, she'd want you to show your talents and be more assertive when necessary.
In most school competitions when teachers are made to choose from among her/his students those who would represent the entire class, teachers are very selective and would pick the best. Everybody wants to win! No doubt about that!
In lesson planning, teachers make a hundred and one choices which objectives, which sttategies, or which assessment tools to use.
Teachers love multiple choice. When examination comes, this type of test is easy to prepare. It's very time efficient, too, because it is quick to check.
The most difficult part of a teacher's life is, to make the choice at the end of the term, to retain or pass a student.
