Here's just some backstory.
Aster, or Ash as she prefers, was covering herself more as no one knows she's a skeleton. She also has marks just like her dad but they're mirrored. Ash is 13 (just like me, the author) and is researching on Monsters for her presentation at school (idk where this idea came from, it just appeared while I was writing. Anyway), the presentation was about any topic the student wants so Ash chose monsters as she could also learn about herself and her kind. For what felt like a century of looking for her father (Which only she and ____ remember exists [I won't spoil! 😜]), she found out Monsters were sealed under Mt Ebbot, and with that came more research until she found every detail she possibly could. Being in the librarby (reference) she researched, slept and talked with the librarian, Miss Alice Ketteringham. Alice was friends with Ash and was the only one in the school that knew her monstrous secret (pun intended).
Aster's POV (Point of view)
was a minute late and Mrs Agatha gave me flipin detention!
{I couldn't think of a name for the strict teacher so I asked my mom and she said that it sounded like I was talking about her, so the strict teacher is named after my mom lol 😂}
Later (still Aster's POV)
I went and researched cuz Mrs Agatha let me but I couldn't do anything else so what felt like a millennium later I was FREEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The first thing I did was to go on my Soundcloud app and sang along to Discord (by The Living Tombstone).
