MATE!

Ace POV-

It's been two months from my 18th birthday and still there is no sign of my mate.

Although i got these feelings that soon I'm going to find him.

Anyway, sliding the thoughts of my mate away from my mind i wake up from the bed and waited for the alarm which was about to go off at any moment.

I looked at the clock. It said 5:00am, the alarm went off and i pull on my track suit and tied up my shoe lace. Urge to run into the woods got best of me.

I slowly walked down the stairs as i don't want to wake anyone up. I walked out of the door and run towards the forest.

First half an hour i was on my feet then my clothes ripped off as my inner wolf was screaming to come out.

Soon i was converted into big black wolf. I started running as fast as i could into the woods.

Time passed by and hour later i tired myself out and dropped my body near the river shore. I layed there for couple of minutes to catch my breath.

I started to capture the nostalgic voice of the birds and beautiful view of the nature. Smell of pine bring my mind to comfort.

Me and my wolf love to being in nature. We werewolf are nature's child.

That is why spirit decided our mate. Before the thought of my mate could strike me again i get up and headed straight towards my home.

I was welcomed by the delicious smell of Italian toast "Good morning honey, how was your run today ?" My mom chirped in sweet voice as she put the breakfast on the table.

"Good morning mom and it was good as always" i replied.

"Hurry up and get down here....now you don't want to be late today, do you?" She said excitedly.

"Yeah! I'll be down in few minutes" today was a big day cause i was declared captain yesterday.

We have to choose new players in next few days. I had always dreamed to become captain of basketball team and my dream came true.

Well! Not in the mood of bragging but with the strength of alpha wolf there is no way anyone other than me was able become the captain.
There was no room for objections too cause most of the members were in my pack.

I ran upto my room and took a quick shower. I fixed my raven hairs and glanced towards my shiny grey eyes.

I dried myself with towel and wrapped it around my waist.

I took out black v neck t-shirt and blue jeans from my wardrobe and pull them on after that i packed my bagpack, tied up my grey converse and lastly put on my black denim jacket and ran downstairs.

My stomach growled in hunger. After reaching i just dig myself in the breakfast plate.

My mom laughed at my action.

"Growing wolf sure eats quite a lot" my dad said as i saw him coming toward us.

His large body walk in confidence as his spectacle show his intelligence. I always wanted to be like him. He is like a role model for me. Every one says he is the best alpha leader. Which put more responsibilities and expectations on my shoulders.

He walked past through the table and huged my mom tightly. I saw them kissing and it grossed me out.

"Seriously! Stop doing that in front of me." I focused on my food to distract myself cause i can't watch my parents making out in front of me on the kitchen island.

"You won't understand now son." My dad said as he separate from my mom and took his own breakfast plate.

"Understand what?" I stood up and pick my backpack.

"That it's difficult to control yourself when your mate is standing in front of you" he smirked as he said that which was replied by mom's sweet smile.

How am i suppose to know that I'm still a single wolf. I'm craving for that feeling when your mate is next to you.

"You will soon find your mate, honey" my mom said sitting next to my dad.

I walked out of the door after biding them goodbye. I jumped in my Mercedes and drove to the high school.

I walked straight towards my first class which was mathematics. I don't like maths but i don't hate it either.

To be in the team i have to keep up with good grades. I walked inside the classroom and sat on my usual seat which is next to the window.

Jessica saw me as jumped in excitement and ran towards me. I groaned mentally not wanted to deal with her in the morning.

Although she is class most beautiful girl but she is the one who could sleep with any handsome boy. I'm honestly not interested in her.

"Ace! Good morning" she said leaning her body on my table. I didn't say anything and give her a blank face but she ignored that.

"Are you free after school...cause we can watch the new romantic movie" she continued with hopes.

"No. I got basketball practice to do" i said firmly as i saw her eyes turned sad and filled with disappointment.

"That's too bad, but we can go any other time" she said with hopes up.

Suddenly teacher came inside and order everyone to move to their seats. I was so thankful for that. Everyone sat down and the lecture begin.

As i was taking down my notes a sweet cinnamon apple scent with hint of cologne hit my nose and right after that the classroom door shot opened and boy with caramel brown hairs and ice blue eyes walked inside.

"Mate" my inner wolf screamed. I was shocked cause he was a human.

How could that's possible. Him being a boy wasn't shocking for me. I zoned out.

His scent was driving me crazy. It was hard to control my wolf cause now that he found his mate he wanted to mark him.

Suddenly his sweet voice echoed in my ear. "I'm Jason McDougal, I'm new in here" he said confidently but i could sense little bit of nervousness in his voice.

Jason what a sweet name. His everything was driving me crazy. My mind was filled with making my mate.

Everything happened so fast that when his eyes met with mine all my emotions started to fill my eyes.

He looked away breaking the eye contact as it hurt cause all i want was to dive in that ocean eyes.

Miss Elena is going to be me favourite teacher as she said Jason to sit next to me.

I saw him make his way to me and we again looked in each other's eyes. My wolf was coming to the surface.

He sat beside me and sighed.

His breath and his scent was overpowering and that's where i lost it.

I picked my bag and ran out of the classroom. Cause if i had sat there any longer i would probably having my way with him and marking him.
