In Love With A Hybrid ~ Taekook/Vkook

Chapter nine

Jeon Jungkook.

Jungkook stumbled into the Lords house clumsily, every now and then reaching out for him as support.

Namjoon seemed annoyed by now, as if he didn't expect the bunny to get drunk that quickly. 

He helped him onto a big bed with a glittering canopy on top, like it was made for a fairy.

"Woooow ...", the bunny hybrid muttered. "Look at it glittering ... like stars."

"Yes, my dear. i had it hung up there because this bed is for my pets, and the pets I select have eyes glittering like a star lit night. And so do you, bunny."

Jungkooks doe eyes widened, watching the lord get up to search through a dresser next to the bed. He pulled out a blanket and layed it on top of the boy with the rabbit ears, before he himself got undressed to lay next to Jungkook naked.

The rush of alcohol seemed to be over immediatly as the bunny tensed up uncomfortably. 

Never has a man layed beside him like that.

He felt his skin getting sweaty as the Lord touch the bunnys leg, softly caressing it.

"I can fell your fear. Don't worry, I won't do anything further to you tonight. But you should be glad that you can be my pet, so get used to it."

The boy tried not to shake as he shut his eyes the moment the Lord killed the light.

Jeon Jungkook.

Jungkook waited until Namjoons breath slowed down and he was certain to have fallen asleep before crawled out from under the covers, tip toeing his way to the door that lead outside.

He was careful to not make a sound when he opened it as he slipped outside, closing it as quietly as possible.

He looked around for the horse or deer in fear of being caught, but they probably weren't allowed near while the Lord had one of his pets inside. 

Now the panic really seemed to kick in as he ran out of the colony, even though he didn't know where he was or where to run to. 

Jungkook started to pant heavily as he felt his stamina running low after a few minutes so he stopped, hands on his knees while screaming out his only escape.

"Taehyung!"

The echo of his own voice faded into the forest. He bit his bottom lip, took a deep breath and started running again, every now and then calling out for the mysterious boy.

"Taehyung! You said You'd hear me when I call! So where are you?!", a clear desperation was heard in the bunnys voice, aching in panic and pain. 

Running and running, the boy just kept running; until he bumped into another figure violently.

"Ah!", Jungkook squeaked; "I'm sorry for running away, sorry!"

"Jungkook, it's me! Look at me!", the figure shook the brown haireds shoulders until he looked at the figure, one that turned out to be the one he was calling for.

"... you heard me ...", Jungkook breathed out, their gazes interlocked in a moment of heavy heartbeats.

The wolfs ear twitched like a hint as a smile appeared on his face. "I'd hear you miles away."

Kim Taehyung.

The wolf settled down next to the bunny, both in their human forms but with animalistic behaviour, so Tae rolled his body up like a dog while Jungkook layed his ears over his face like he was hiding, while snuggling onto the other.

"So why did you run away? Did something bad happen?"

The bunny shook his head. "No; well, I guess not. But so many things happened ..."

"I can imagine that. So, what's it like to be accepted into a colony? What did they do with you?"

The bunny fidgeted a bit, looking down at his soft, pale hands. "They cleaned me and stuff, then held a ritual for me. There were bowls with stuff like dirt and water, and depending on whatever I'd react to that would become my role in the colony."

"How exciting. What did you react to?"

"Water and flowers. They said it never happened that a hybrid reacted to two things, and that I was a half god."

Tae choked. "Wait, for real? Holy shit. What does that mean?"

Jungkook sighed, snuggling closer to the older. "I don't know, and I don't know if I wanna find out. I don't wanna go back there."

"Why not?", Taehyung asked, who felt like the bunny was comfortable in his arms, so he started playing with the others wavy hair softly.

"Because I don't like the way the Lord touches me."

Immediatly, the wolf hybrid froze. Someone else was touching him, even against his will?

He suddenly felt waves of heat rising, but almost at the same time, a painful realization hit him. The bunny needed to go back, Taehyung wasn't ready to protect the bunny all by himself against the rest of the world just yet.

"Jungkook ...", the wolf began, caressing the Bunnys hair softly but decided to stop, after what he just heard; "You need to go back there for now."

"What?!", Jungkook bursted out. "I thought you'd protect me!"

"I will! I promise dearly. But If I was to take you home with me now, there's a chance we'd end up dead tomorrow.  It's heard enough to hide myself."

Silence. Of course the bunny understood, but he didn't think about what would be if he had to endure more assult. 

"You have to figure out what exactly it means to be a half god, and more importantly  what you can do with it. Maybe it will deem itself useful. Whilst you do that, I promise to come back everytime you call. I will figure out a way for you to live peacefully."

"For us.", the bunny whispered, turning red when he saw the olders expressing. "I don't wanna  live alone, that's why!"

The wolf nodded with a shy smile. "If you ever need someone, I will be there no matter what. But I've got to go now."

The bunny held on to the other with a tight grip. "But answer me one question first. Why? Why did you throw your own freedom away for me? And why do you keep running whenever I call you?"

The wolf smiled once again, his warm hand against the youngers cheek. "One day you will understand.", and with that the hybrid ran and dissapeared into the darkness, leaving Jungkook under the shining dance of a million stars above him.

WOAH. so the last chapter I posted was on september 18th 2018 and its the 24th of january 2020 today. Like??? It's been awhile yall. But I'll be updating this more often than once a year i promise lol. Thanks to everyone who's been sticking with me throughout the years!
