Y/n was quite nervous, But she passed it off.

She applied some light blush, and put on a light red dress with ruffles at the bottom.

"Y/n? Are you ready?" Her mother asked.

"Yeah, Are you guys?"

"Almost honey." Her father smiled.

A few minutes after, they headed out the door.

They arrived to the doorstep, And knocked. Mrs. Lachance awnsered immediately. And they were greeted inside the home.

The boy, her mother told y/n about was sitting at the table. He looked at her for a moment then turned away.

"Hello, What's your name?" Mrs. Lachance asked y/n.

"Hi, I'm Y/n." She smiled.

"Oh that's a nice name." She smiled back.

Mrs. Lachance showed them to the table, while Mr. Lachance took their coats.

Y/n sat by her parents, while the boy was on the other side of her.

"Gordon, say hello." His mother nudged him.

"Oh hi, I'm Gordie." He glanced at Y/n.

"Oh hey, I'm Y/n."

The boy, "Gordie" smiled at them, and then starting eating.

After eating some, The adults decided they wanted to talk, so they insisted Gordie show Y/n his room.

Y/n followed Gordie up the stairs, and he opened the door, and walked in.

The room had some books, and an old hotdog..? On the dresser.

"This is it.." Gordie said bluntly.

"Nice." Y/n smiled.

"You just moved here, right?" Gordie asked.

"Yep, I used to be in Greenville. But my father got a job offer here.." Y/n stated.

"Oh cool."

"So, Do you have any hobbies?" Y/n asked.

"I like to write. Do you?" Gordie asked the girl.

"Yeah, it's fun." Y/n smiled.

"No I mean do you have any hobbies?" Gordie laughed a little.

"Oh sorry, But yeah I do. I like to read." She laughed.

"Oh that's cool." Gordie stated.

"Yep..."

"Y/n! We're getting ready to go." Y/n's parents shouted from downstairs.

"Okay!" Y/n stated.

"I'll see you sometime Gordie."
Y/n smiled at him, Then got up and went downstairs.

She went downstairs, And put on her shoes while saying her goodbyes.

Gordie followed her downstairs, and waved them goodbye.
