Tae stood there awkwardly, fingers interlaced in front of himself while he looked around the room, taking in the small details of the dining room. It was a tall room, tan walls ran up until they hit a ceiling with images painted all over.
He spotted the ballroom doors and decided to take an early leave. His legs briskly walked out the big double doors, causing a loud click to echo around the room, leaving Jeongguk to stare at the big doors, longing to talk to Prince Taehyung for some reason which was quite unlike him, as he was uninterested in any princess there.
Taehyung roamed the hallways in search of Jimin. Only to find the prince running to him with a large smile adorning his face.
"Taehyung!" Jimin yelled in excitement, "your room is across from Jeongguks!" This made Taehyung freeze as nerves tingled at his skin.
"Wha-"
"Come on follow me," Jimin rushed him as he pushed his back a bit. "I have the royal tailor coming to your room before lunch to take measurements for new dresses."
"Thanks, prince, but I really would just like to write to my aunt." Taehyung smiled softly as Jimin hurried his pace.
"Well of course, I have the paper and ink set up for you," Jimin smiled widely as he stopped at a tall wooden door. "Here it is, go check it out."
Tae was a bit hesitant before latching his warm soft hand into the cold medal of the handle. He quickly turned his wrist and pulled the door open.
A grand room was revealed to him as he stood outside. His small feet inched inside as his big eyes roamed the room.
The walls were light grey, a big bed was pushed against a wall, light sage green silky bed sheets reflecting light and catching Taes eyes. A wooden dresser with a mirror opened on top of it rested as a jewelry box laid atop it as well.
"Wow," Taehyung whispered as he spotted the walk-in closet and private bathroom. "Prince, this is too much."
"No worries Taehyung! All of the competition get rooms like this, except no walk-in closet." Jimin whispered the last part.
Before Taehyung could respond another voice silenced him, "Prince Jimin," The deep raspy voice greeted. Jimin quickly looked over to his side and spotted his chamber maid.
"Morning Yoongi." Jimin smiled with dusty pink kissed cheeks as the maid bowed then continued to walk down the long hallway. Jimin touched his warm cheek with the tips of his small fingers, smile on his lips as he watched Yoongis figure faded in the distance.
Taehyung wondered who that was but decided to kept his mouth shut instead of meddling in Prince Jimin's business.
"Okay, well I'll leave you alone." Jimin smiles, cheeks back to normal as he looked at Taehyung. "Lunch starts at 2, I'll come to get you beforehand." Taehyung nodded his head before Jimin walked away with a pip in his step.
He walked slowly to his bed, reaching down to touch the silk with his long fingers before plopping down. His bum sunk into the mattress before he flopped himself backwards, letting the memory foam caress his curves. He sighed, today had been a long day and it's not even over.
Which reminded him, as he sprung up from the bed, he needed to write to his aunt. Making his way swiftly to the desk he noticed the paper and pen laying atop it.
He softly sat down on the wooden chair, butt sinking into the cushion placed on the chair. Before he knew it his hands were writing about how his day went and the turn of events, letting her know he will be staying at the castle and to please write him back about fathers health.
He quickly folded the note and looked in the many tiny drawers on the desk to finally find an envelope. Before he could slide the letter in there, there was a knock at the door.
"Um- come in!" He yelled into the stagnant air. The door swung open as a tall man walked in with a handsome smile, tape measure in one hand and multiple fabrics in the other.
"Hey love, I was sent here by Jimin to measure you up and make you some pretty gowns, I'm Jin." The broad-shouldered male bowed, brown hair falling over his eyes. Taehyung was happy to see another male omega in the castle.
"Oh! Yes, thank you." Taehyung smiled as he stood straighter, hands clasped in front of him.
Jin slowly entered the room, placing his things on the desk Taehyung had been writing on."Prince Jeongguk will definitely notice you In these dresses I'll make," Jin smiles cheekily. Taehyung smiled meekly as a blush coated his cheeks. Jin started wrapping the tape measure around different parts of his body and soon Taehyung was picking out his favorite fabrics.
It was then that Taehyung expressed his love of more light flowy dresses as that's what he was most used to. Growing up he would play outside with the neighboring kids in small little dresses or flowy pants that rippled in the wind as they ran around.
"Most of the princesses will be going all out," Jin explained, "But if that's what you're most comfortable with then I will do it." He finally finished working, gathering all his things together before heading to the door. The omega didn't mind if he looked inferior to the princesses as he wasn't here for the crown, after all he was just a baker so it was useless to compete for such a thing.
"Bye Taehyung! It was a pleasure to meet you." Jin waved as he walked out the door, mind running with ideas of gowns that would accent Taehyungs figure. "I'll have a dress sent to you in a bit!" He sighed as the door closed, he was exhausted from today yet he still had lunch and dinner left. The omega was already starting to regret his decision, hopefully, baking will be worth it.
"Taehyung!!" Jimins voice echoed through the hallway as he walked up to a certain room. The door opened and Jimin walked in with a big smile and a clothes hanger that held up a beautiful chiffon pink dress with a corset, "time for lunch!"

Let me know what you think of Taehyungs character! Hope his thinking is slightly more logical than the first version of this book.
