"best. date. ever." I said as I pulled away with a smile

"that's exactly what I was thinking." she said

"anyways, thank you for letting me take you out, I would love to see you again if you are willing." I say as I kiss her cheek
"good night paige"
"good night cassidy" she says as she kisses me one more time.

I get into my car and drive home the whole time I can't keep that damn smile off my face.
I pull into my driveway and go into the house.
I see my mom and already she's gonna wanna know where I was.

"what're you doing out this late sweetheart, gotta date or something?" she asks sarcastically

"actually yes I just took paige out." I said plainly

she looks at me. for a second i'm actually scared about what she's gonna say about me going out with one of her friends.

"I mean if you're happy I guess I am too, goodnight sweetheart" she says and kisses my forehead

I go outside and sit by the pool and gaze at the stars thinking about the amazing date I just had with Paige.
next thing I know my phone buzzed.

Paige
"hey I just wanted to thank you again for tonight, it was amazing."

Cassidy
"i can't wait until next time❤️"

I woke up the next day and got up and went for a run. after that I went to the store and picked up some food for breakfast. I picked up some bananas and turned to go check out and bumped into a young woman with dark hair and light eyes and dropped my groceries.

"oh sorry" she said as she helped me

"oh it's okay" I said with a smile

"let me at least buy you a coffee to make up for it" she said as we made eye contact.

"umm sure...i'm cassidy" I said a little hesitantly

"i'm rachel" she responded with a grin

"okay so i'll pay for my stuff and meet you outside?" I offered

"sounds good" rachel said

I was waiting outside at my car and then I saw rachel.

"ready?" rachel asked

"yes" I answered

we made it to the coffee shop and ordered. we were sitting and waiting for our coffee.

"So do you have a boyfriend?" She asked

"I haven't had a boyfriend since high school, I'm gay" I laughed

"Aha well I guess that makes two of us. So do you have a girlfriend then?" Rachel said

"Well I don't have one right now but I'm working on something." I told her

"Hmm too bad... I can't be surprised though you're beautiful." Rachel complemented me

"Well thank you. Do you have a girlfriend?" I asked Rachel

"No I don't" Rachel told me

"Well I'm sure you'll find someone" I smiled

The coffee was good and the small talk was nice. I could definitely see her being one of my friends. So she gave me her phone number if we wanted to hangout again.

"Thank you again for the coffee. I'll see you around" I said

"See you later Cassidy" Rachel said

I went home and saw Paige was at the house. I went inside and saw her in a gorgeous black sundress.

"Did you have to look so good because you figure I would be here." I said as I walked by her

"I didn't realize I looked good." She sassed back

"You always look good" I mumbled as I sipped my coffee

"Oh you got coffee?" She asked

"Oh yeah Rachel bought it for me" I answered her

"Who's Rachel?" She seemed more interested in what I was talking about now

"I just met her at the store and she bought me a coffee for knocking my groceries over, she's just a friend" I explained to Paige

"Hmm interesting, how old is she?" She asked

"I don't know. Probably around my age" I guessed

"Well if you'd rather be with her I totally understand, she's closer to your ag-" I stopped her talking by kissing her

"That is ridiculous you even think that. I don't want her I have my eye on something much more interesting..." I get closer to her ear "and sexier" I whispered

I saw a different look in her eye that I've never seen before. Lust and I loved it.

"If you say so" she said and walked away her hips swaying.
