i gently cuddled the smaller girl with a pained heart.her tears were still running down her cheeks non-stop as sugawara-san was calling the police,tsukishima and yamaguchi were making sure that the man wouldn't be able to come over and everything just went by so fast.my heart pounded as i looked at her blue hair.a few minutes later,she looked up at me and wrapped her arms around my waist.
"thank you...tobio."she murmurs into my chest after finally calming down and the police arrive.
"we got a call that a girl was sexually assaulted?"a cop came up to me and tilted his head down to me,a notepad in hand.with a gentle nod,i quickly got shiroai to explain what happened.
"where's the man?"the cop asked before yamaguchi lifted his arm,pointing at the man's slumped up form against a tree.
"oh?well,that'd make it easier to handle him in the car.thanks for the call,boys.you too,kid."he smiles at hinata before putting a gold star sticker onto hinata's shirt.
shiroai bursts out into giggles and i look at her with an eyebrow raised.
"hE hEheHe tHoUgHt YoU wErE a KiD!"she blurts out between laughters and wheezing.
"seriously!I'M NOT THAT SHORT!"hinata shouts,a pout forming his face.
shiroai's POV
"honestly,i agree with you but it's hard for me to say it when you're like..."i paused and lifted up a few fingers,counting how many cm shorter than me he was."like 8cm shorter than me."i giggled before patting his head gently.
"kageyama,send shiroai home.it really is getting late,we all have to go home now."daichi says before kageyama lifts me up from the ground,my arm slung around his shoulders to support my weight.
"let's go home together,shiro."kageyama pats my back and i gently wave goodbye to my new friends.
"...i-i-i uhm i...BEMINE!"tobio shouts as soon as he's sure they can't hear us.
"say that slower,idiot.can't understand a single thing ya sayin'."i lightly scold him,pulling down my hood.
"...be mine..."
i look into his deep blue eyes,the jet black hair that i used to tie into ponytails when i was just a little kid,his blistered hands from days of training,his worn out shoes that just so happened to be matching with mine...

"as long as you'll be mine too."i say,pulling the boy i've known since i was born,close,arms around his waist.
"thank you for giving me happiness for the past 16 years."i smile gently at his words.
"c'mon,we best get to my home now.it really is quite dark."i say before grabbing his hand,pulling him as i run towards the direction of my home,into the dark night as the stars shine into our miyagi prefecture.
"nii-chan!leon!yuta!tojime!"i shout as i open the door,tobio behind me.
"ne-san!"the twins pull me in for a hug after they roll off the couch and hayuto comes down the stairs,tojime tailing behind him.
"who's that,ne-san?"leon asks and points at tobio who grips omto my hand really tightly.
"my boyfriend,leon-ah."i ruffle his hair and face the other brothers.
