"I'm too tired for this." Kuro grumbled as he was pulled along the busy streets by his boyfriend.
"C'mon, you promised you would go on a date with me and we wouldn't spend another day inside watching tv and eating junk food." [name] pouted. "Can you at least try to have a good time for me?"
"I can try but I can't promise you anything." Kuro grumbled. They arrived at a small restaurant and took their seats at the back. He sighed and leaned his head on his boyfriends shoulder as [name] looked over the menu for what to order.
"Wow. There's so much to choose from. I have no idea what to get." He mumbled, pursing his lips. Kuro yawned quietly, feeling his eyes slowly start to shut. The shoulder he was lying on was very comfy and he had had many naps here before. "What do you want?"
When there was no answer, he looked to the side and saw Kuro nearly asleep. It was nearly impossible for them to have actual dates because of this. He frowned and shook his head, "Let's just go home."
Kuro snapped his eyes open when he heard the sadness in his loves voice. "Why? You were so excited to come here and now you just want to leave?"
"Well, I can clearly see you don't want to be here and I'm not going to force you to. We'll just go home and watch another movie." He went to stand up but Kuro grabbed him and forced him to sit back down.
Yes, Kuro wanted to go home and he was tempted to take the offer but he couldn't now, not what he saw how much this stupid date meant to [name] and if there was one thing Kuro hated doing, it was upsetting the guy next to him. "No... we can stay. I promise I won't fall asleep again."
"Are you sure? Because if you want to go home than we can."
"I'm sure. We're going to order our food and we're going to have a great time." Than we can go home and I can get comfy laying in your arms, he thought soon after.
He did his absolute best to give [name] all of his attention, listening to every single detail of every story he told him as they ate the food.
Another wave of tiredness hit him and he quickly stood up. He couldn't look like he wanted to sleep. He had to do something. "I'll be right back." He said, receiving a confused stare from [name] as he ran into the nearest bathroom. He went over to the sink and turned on the tap, putting his hands under the freezing cold water and cupping some of it.
He lifted his hands and threw the water into his face, instantly making him shiver from the cold and his eyes widen. That was a good way to waken himself up. He left the bathroom and went back to the table, sitting in front of his half eaten food.
[name] looked at him curiously, "why are you wet?" He asked, tilting his head to the side in a cute manner.
That's right, I probably should have dried myself off, Kuro thought. His head was wet and water droplets were dripping from him and onto the table in front of him. "I was... thirsty." He said.
"But you have a drink right there." [name] pointed to the glass.
"Oh! I didn't see that there. Thank you for pointing it out." Kuro smiled, picking up the glass and taking a large sip from it. Thankfully, [name] wasn't the brightest person around and easily believed the lie.
The date continued on for a while longer but Kuro was happy when it was over and they were heading there way home. He would never do this for anyone but [name] and seeing how happy he was made the whole night worth it.
He was wrapped underneath [name]'s arm as they made their way home. The warmth radiating from him made him sigh in relief, already feeling himself relax.
"I know you didn't want to come tonight but thank you for doing it for me." [name] said. "Since you did this for me, you can choose the next date."
"I already have an idea of what I want to do." Kuro mumbled, hoping his want for their usual laze date wouldn't upset [name].
He breathed a sigh of relief when [name] let out a laugh. "I wouldn't expect anything different from you, sloth." He leaned over and kissed the side of his head. "And I would be more then happy to have a lazy date with you."
They made it home and once inside, Kuro found his pile of blankets of the ground and cuddled into them, squishing his face into the soft material. "I missed you." He mumbled.
He hadn't even realised he had fallen asleep until he felt [name] pick him up and carry him to the bedroom. "Sorry. Didn't mean to wake you." [name] whispered and placed him on the bed.
Kuro looked at him with a frown when he noticed his hair was wet and he was in his bed clothes. "You had a shower without me? How rude."
"Hey, you were the one who fell asleep. I knew if I asked you to have a shower, you would be to tired to stand up and I would have to hold you up." [name] got in bed next to him, turning on his side and slithering his arm over his waist.
Kuro lifted his hand and ran his fingers through the other males hair, getting his hand wet as well. "I want you to know that I enjoyed the date tonight. Even though I wouldn't have chosen it, as long as I'm with you, I'm happy."
"I'll keep that in mind for the next time I plan a date."
"Don't get to ahead of yourself."
