Brring! Brring! Brring!
Wiping the sleep from his eyes and flicking the light on, Jeremy Fitzgerald picked up the phone.
"Er, hello?" His boss said into the silence.
"Hey boss." Jeremy replied cheerfully, trying to sound like it wasn't - he checked the clock - 4am and he hadn't been disturbed from his first night's sleep in a while.
"Uh, we need you to come in early today. Um, some new animatronics have been installed."
As he had worked the nightshift before, this could only mean bad news to Jeremy. He covered his shock with a cough. "Really?"
"Yeah. We've turned Kid's Cove temporarily into Santa's Grotto, and there are some reindeer now. Nine. We would have installed a Santa too, but I think he'd have freaked the kids out. Besides, it's cheaper."
"Oh." Jeremy sighed. "What's happened to the Mangle?"
"I think it's time we put her out of her misery, Sport. She's done for, right?" He gave a harsh laugh. "She's in the Parts and Services room."
"Ah, ok. I'll help set up."
"See you there, then." and then he hung up.
Jeremy put his head in his hands. "Oh, God." he muttered.
