Chapter 3

HEEEELLLLOOO LOVES !!! I'm back with a new chapter !!!! Enjoy like and comment !!

I get back into my dorm and lean against the door. That was probably the most embarrassing things that has ever happened to me. I hastily walk into my room put my things on the floor. I brush my hair and put it into a high ponytail I walk out of my room and sit on the couch with Tara and Niall.

"What are we even watching?" I said.

"We are watching Blackfish!!" Tara says excitedly.

"Tara I think I've seen that documentary like seven times, maybe another movie?"

Tara pouts "I've never seen it and neither has Niall though!"

"Ok then I think I'm going to pass on this one guys. I'm gonna go to the coffee shop down the street to study a bit, if that's okay?"

"Okay! See you later Car!"

"By Carolyn it was nice meeting you!" Niall said with a smile.

I give a smile and a slight wave. I Slipped on my shoes and pulled my purse over my shoulder. I grabbed my laptop case off my desk and keys out of the bowl by the door.
I walk down the street in the crisp fall air to the coffee shop.
I sit down on the couch and pull out my laptop. I open up a blank screen on Microsoft and start writing.

After 2 cups of coffee and a completed paper, proofread, and sent to my professor I close my laptop. I look up and see i'm the only one left in the shop.

"Wow, well the last one outta here has to help clean the shop. Bosses rules." I turn and put my full attention to the boy in the apron who has a sarcastic grin on his face.

"Ha ha very funny." I say.

"We usually don't have students here this late on a Friday night. It's like 10 o'clock what are you doing here, college kids are out partying right now, well at least ones without jobs." He said while sitting at the table closest to the couch, tossing a rag from hand to hand.

"Finishing a paper that's due tomorrow, unlike most people I care about my education."

"I'd much rather be at a party then here at 10 o'clock at night."

"That's just your preference." I reply.

He gets up and offers a hand.
"I'm Louis by the way, what's your name?"

"Carolyn," I take his hand and shake it "so... do you want some help? I'm actually very good at cleaning." I say with a smile

He returns the gesture "Sure."

Louis hands me a rag, I clean all the tables while he cleans behind the counter.

"So do you go to NYU?"

Look up and brush a strand of hair away from my face and behind my ear.

"Yeah I study English, do you?"

"Sure do, I study Psychology." He said with a smile

"Wow that must be really interesting." I walk over to the counter and start spraying the cleaner.

"Most the time, the other part is basically just studying which I'm not very fond of doing." He laughs

"Most people aren't very fond of studying," I shrug
"but maybe it just be the way you study."

"Very true."

We both finish cleaning the shop and I begin to gather my things. And start walking towards the door.

"Hey Carolyn, is it alright if I have your number, maybe we can hang out sometime?"

I smile and re adjust my ponytail

"Sure!"

We swap phones and put our contact information. I hand him back his phone and he hands me mine.

"Thanks I'll see you around." He said with a smile

I return the gesture "Yeah, see you."

I'm almost half way to my dorm when I feel a buzz in my back pocket.
I unlock my phone to see that it's from Louis.

" See you tomorrow? "

I reply a short and sweet
"Sure :) "

OMGG I FINALLY UPDATED!!! haha I'm sorry it's been so long !but I promise I'm gonna get back to writing again ! It's almost thanksgiving and I'm so excited ! Please comment and like !! Thank you to all who have read it so far I love you !!!
