an ally, rain, cigarettes, and a mood setting aura of neon purple against reflecting puddles. the mood was set for a friday night in a small korean town, right outside of seoul. the town was full of people who know people. and everyone in the town knew jeon jungkook. he was the nice one who had the pride a small town in a classic movie had. you know, where everyone came together to pray as catholics or rebuild a community. his town wasn't like that though. religion wasn't big and there were no major crimes if any crime at all.

this town was set. assembled on the backs of pride lived a town. and assembled on that town was a diner. and in that diner on a soft red booth sat out small town boy jeon jungkook. his hair was brown and combed his normal way. his normal order was placed with a simple "the usual". all that was missing what the figure that came through the door. a young boy smaller than jungkook entered the building and struck the small bell above the entrance with the opening door to signal his arrival. jungkook hand raised and the dusty silver haired boy approached. it was almost as if the color was just faded at this point. it matched the tables that tinted with lights.

"fine. you win this one." the oldest of the two stated. he placed five dollars on the table and slid it to the other boy, taking his seat beside him. there was a bet going on. first one to the town diner got five bucks. jungkook won. happy he slipped a few dollars into his pocket. that was his own dare. jimin would go next.

"you're up." jungkook smirked. his eyebrows raised ever so slightly as he took a sip of an old bottled coke and crossed his legs.

"i have to think of something good. you always win these simple ones." jimin stated. the food arrived soon however and the boys got way too caught up in the meal before them to focus on.

the indulgence in the food was interrupted however when jimin felt an empty back pocket but only a few dollars. "shit." he whispered to himself.

"uh, hey kook." jimin began hesitantly. jungkook was halfway into biting his burger so took a moment to chew , placing a finger up to signal ' hold on' before covering his mouth to chew.

"sorry about that. i was enjoying the meal i dare you to pay for." jungkook smirked.

"uh about that. i dare you to pay for dinner?" jimin coward back a bit into the seat with a shrug. he was a bit nervous at how his younger friend would react. jungkook just sighed.

"alright. fine. your turn."
