A/N: Well the chapter 1 is also edited and here it is, the plot line is so much better, now and you'll get glimpses of Lizzie's true self here, but that is if you have a keen eye and notice it. ;)----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We moved away from the crowds our fingers intertwined, the old buzz I used to feel when we had just started dating, was long gone.
I should have taken that as a sign. I was blind back then, well don't argue with me, the number of my glasses has increased now.
So yeah, he led me away from the graduation buzz, people patting on his and my back, they muttered congrats as we passed them and commented about how good my speech was, well from the reviews I've got I could be a good speaker!
Yay Me!
Once we reached one end of the long football field where the graduation took place, Lucas said the words that haunt me till date.
"Hey Love" Lucas said as he breathed out his beautiful face contorted with lines of nervousness and hesitation.
All you girls... who are swooning right now, because he called me love stop it.... You know what he didn't come up, with it on his own.
Yeah, the story goes like, back before we dated, he overheard me, talking to my Best Friend, Blair.
Like her name suggests, she had taken it upon herself to be the next Blair Waldorf. She was succeeding... now all she needed was a Chuck Bass.
Yeah you might be thinking that, he remembered that you liked being called love, but no let me again clarify that, he didn't ... he was oblivious most of the times. During those cheesy text messages we had a conversation, where I mentioned, rather stated I liked being called love.
I mean look at all the efforts I had taken.
I should have seen the obvious, I was too in love and he wasn't.
That had been my third mistake.
Yes you are up to speed now so... let's get back to the story.
"What's up Luke?" I said smiling up at him, okay safe to say I was oblivious too!
"Um uh... I don't know how to say this, but this is important" He said fidgeting
"What is it?"
"I'm sorry but this isn't working out"
"What? I'm sorry I don't think I get it? What do you mean?" I asked confused. Oh don't face palm, it isn't that bad, I mean think about it, this guy till yesterday, in fact till today morning sent me... 'I love you babe' 'Don't leave me' 'You mean a lot to me'.
TALK ABOUT CLINGY!
So well, he rephrased it, "We are not working out babe, and we need to break up"
"What but you, you told me, that yesterday we were fine, what? What's going on... is this you trying to prank me? Ugh is this some sort of joke?" I said as my heart thudded and thumped across my chest.
"I understand, you didn't see this coming" Oh talk about it captain obvious. "But you and I aren't for the long haul, because you are going away to Princeton, after the summer ends, and I will be going away to the college that offers me the best scholarship program for football. We both know long distance doesn't work" he said looking anywhere but me.

Summer Solstice (ON HOLD) (Never to be finished)
RomanceYou know there are those clichéd stories that always start up with a girl and a guy... guy dumps girl and the plot for revenge begins! My story kind of started like that, boy dumped me, I settled with a bucket of ice-cream and plane ticket to an ol...
