Harry awoke from the black out with no memory of how he had gotten into the building, seeing only the concerned faces of the Weasley's before him. Slowly, he edged into a sitting position, despite Molly's protests, and it all came back to him. The pain, the silhouettes, the angel. Draco. Why had Draco Malfoy been the cure to his pain? Why had he been an angel? Harry's thoughts were cut short as Mrs Weasley started fussing over him, making sure he was OK."You gave us all a terrible fright Harry dear. What in the name of Merlin happened?"
"I'm not really sure myself Mrs Weasley, I just suddenly felt as if my abdomen was on fire. I looked up and saw.... someone and the pain disappeared. Then I blacked out." Harry didn't feel it would be necessary to mention the identity of the someone that eased the pain. They would all think he was under some kind of dark magic. Was he? No, he definitely wouldn't be alive if he were. He would be dead at Voldemort's feet, surrounded by waves of laughter.
"Well then, there's nothing much we can do about it at this point. Now, who wants a spot of breakfast?" Molly strolled into the kitchen as she spoke, gathering up the food. Just as she left, a thought stuck Harry. Breakfast? But that meant...
"I've been unconscious all night?!" His yell was so sudden that those who were still within close proximity to him literally jumped in surprise. His bewildered face was met with one's that simply said 'duh'. What. A. Family. He rose to his feet and realized he felt as though the pain had never existed. How strange. Hastily, Harry followed the red head's into the kitchen and took a seat between Ron and Fred. His stomach was growling so loud Hagrid could've heard it up at Hogwarts.
As it was, the whole table heard it, and immediately burst into laughter. It was then that Molly entered the room with the food, halting all previous conversation. Harry hadn't eaten properly since the summer began and the black out had meant he couldn't eat immediately upon his arrival as he usually would have. But as he had learnt from spending summer at the Burrow, a meal cooked by Molly Weasley was the best in the would. Even Hogwarts couldn't compare!
After devouring the delicious meal and a plate of seconds, Harry headed up the stairs to the room he would share with Ron for the remainder of the summer. He wanted to get the list for his books and head to Diagon Alley for the day. After showering, changing, and collecting his list and Gringotts key, Harry headed down the stairs. With a brief explanation to Molly and Arthur as to where he was going, he reached for some Floo powder and was engulfed by the jade green flames.

After doing the majority of his shopping, including purchasing some more Floo powder to use instead of wasting Arthur and Molly's, Harry made his way to the end of the Alley. Harry knew the Weasley's could barely afford things as it was, and he didn't want to be taking more than he had to. They willingly let him into their home for weeks during the summer and asked for nothing in return, but that was always a prospect that Harry found unfair, and would repeatedly buy then small gifts to help out, no matter how often they refused. Buying Floo pawder was one of his lesser gifts. He had once bought them and entire sofa!
The only thing he had left on his list was his uniform, and that was always a fairly long task. Madame Malkin liked to take her time when creating the Chosen One's wardrobe, knowing that he frequently ended up in the paper. She despised the idea of Harry being seen in anything less than perfection if he was to be photographed in her designs. Occasionally she tried to go to far, so Harry had had to set limits a long time ago. She was not permitted to give him an overly excessive amount of robes and could not make them too fancy unless they were dress robes, which needed to be slightly more regal than his uniform.
As he walked into the shop, a small bell rung above his head, an addition he had recommended his 2nd year to help her know when she had a new customer. The idea was muggle, so it had taken some time for her to get used to it, but it did eventually come into great use. Malkin had an awful habit of creating clothing pieces in the back of the shop and getting so absorbed into it. It wouldn't have surprised Harry if Lord Voldemort had charged in and killed all her customers without her knowing. She was unreachable. But the abnormality of the bell to a witch made it perfect to draw her out of a reverie.
"Harry! I'm so happy to see you my dear boy! I have been awaiting your fitting since the summer began, and I must say, I have some excellent pieces for you to choose from. Come, come now. Lots to do and so little time before nightfall." She obviously wasn't aware it was only 9am. And with that, she whisked Harry away for hours on end, politely refusing to attend to any other fitting customers, but would rapidly mend patches or clothing size if the mood suited her. But once the task was done and paid for, she returned to Harry.
Once she had completed his school robes, of which he now had three, two for the warmer weather and one for the winter, Harry went to go home. Just before he left the shop, having paid for his items already, he spotted a beautiful robe in the window. He stopped completely and turned to face it. On close inspection, it wasn't a robe at all, but beautiful muggle attire.
A pair of black, torn skinny jeans and a green long sleeve shirt with a woolen jumper hung loosely around the waist with black combat boots for footwear. It looked stunning. Noticing Harry's hesitation as he eyed the piece, Madame Malkin came over and spoke to Harry.
"You would suit that piece brilliantly, Harry. The green matches your eyes and the black your hair. You know, you got your fathers hair and your...."
"...my mothers eyes. Yeah, I'm well aware. Hear it often enough to have then many variations of the phrase memorized." Harry turned towards her once dismissing the direction the conversation was going. "How much does the piece cost exactly?"
Understanding his obvious want to change the subject, Malkin answered equally as calm as the boy before her. "Ten galleons. I would offer a discount for the Boy Who Lived, but you would still pay me full price, or even knowing you, slightly more!"
Harry smiled sheepishly and handed over the money, standing idly by as she packed the outfit into a bag and handed it over to him. Then he strode out of the shop and headed for the Leaky Cauldron fireplace to Floo back to the Burrow. But just as he felt the flames engulf him, he found himself wondering what a specific person would thing of his outfit. Confused as to why, he dismissed the thought, but for the remainder of the day, he had one person trapped in his thoughts, unable to remove them no matter how hard he tried.
Draco Malfoy.
