"What was that?" Shilo stirred awake from her sleep. "Don't let that be who I think it is," Shilo shut her eyes disconnecting from reality. The Crow lifted his body weight through the window to Shilo's bedroom, unbeknownst to her. She opened her eyes immediately knowing that her ghost of a friend was in her residence. The Crow placed a finger on his lips and hushed, receding from the window from which he came. Shilo immediately scrambled from the covers and cracked the door open into the hallway, making sure her dad wouldn't catch her in the act. She needed to know if she was hallucinating or not.

The Crow stepped into her room from the same window to ensure her safety and lessen the risk of being caught outside of her bedroom. Shilo retreated back into her haven and crossed her arms, upset that he visited her that night; she was fed up with their nightly rituals and there wasn't any progress made to finding her cure.

Later that night, The Crow had a bit of fun toying around with her mind. He banged the front gate of her home only to find her apprehensive tiny frame hesitating behind the door. She gave him passage. He knew she couldn't resist, knowing that he was her only friend and vigilante in the world. Shilo flees to the nearest door regretting letting him in but to find the door locked. Eric casually asks Shilo, "Where did you find this?" referring to a wig on its mannequin. Shilo throws a plush at him for being a jerk because she knew he knew the answer to that. Eric lifts the wig out of its place ready to hand it to his victim only to find her with a blade in her hand. "You can't stop me," she threatened. The Crow furiously smacked the blade from her hand, pissed that she found him intolerable and that she would consider suicide. "You're here because of me," The Crow soothed her nerves. Shilo screamed and raked her hair with her nails, "I can't take this any more, I don't know if you're real!" she paced around her room ready to rip off her blood pressure wristband. Eric musters the courage to ask her one simple question: "Do you want me to leave, Shi?" his face grew concerned. Shilo nods and grows tense from their interaction. The Crow breaks eye contact and leaves her room with his head hung low, walking out of her life forever. He knew she would need him someday.
