A month later

Voice: subject 15r20 you are free to roam
After a month of this crap I pretty much don't care. I could've left awhile ago. But I couldn't leave Groot, a big guy with a big heart. When i first roamed the place he was the first guy to talk to me. Apparently they put a chip in my head that translates any language in my brain. But Groot was all and all a nice guy. I fell safe around him, and I need to find a plan to free every experiment here. I look to my side to see Groot looking down on water so I quickly sneak and grab a cup and gave it to him.
You: drink up up buddy your gonna need it
I then climb to his head, he's super tall so I feel a little scared but I trust him.

Bright, too bright
As I said that a piece of shade came and blocked the light.
Me: much better
I looked at the shape and saw a head with what looked like two pointy ears at the top

I look back down at Groot and noticed he was thirsty again.
You: sorry Groot I can't get anymore, I'm parched.
I slid off his head and landed on his right knee. I looked towards the water tower thing. Me and groot could get water there, but I'm to thirsty to go over there, get water for me and him, without being shocked. I'd need a distraction but what.
Voice: Subject 89p13 you are free to roam
89p13: yeah, free to roam on your leash!
I look over and I see a new experiment. He wore a orange jumpsuit with black lineament. He looked like one of those rodents I saw on a screen during one of my detachments. A raccoon?? Ya a raccoon.
He was looking at us in a questioning way.
89p13: Hey Barky and pointy ears!!
Now he was walking towards us dragging his "leash"

89p13: thanks for the shade you two, I owe you guys one.
He then took a seat on Groot's other knee and started starring at me.
Me: something wrong?
89p13: nothing just looking
We then hear a groan. We both turn to see groot looking like he was going to wilt to the ground. Then I turn away to cough as my throat reminded me it was dry.
89p13: woah, you look like you could use a drink buddy, you to babe.
Me: ya, and when did I give you permission to call me that.
89p13: never asked you to, and lucky for you two I know just where to get it.
Me: well I know to but we can't just go over there and ask for it now can we?
89p13: who said anything about asking?
Just then he jumped on one of the walker drones and kept jumping towards the water tower.
Voice: Violation. Subject 89p13, return to your cell.
He got to the tower and started taunting the drones.
89p13: talk to the tail, come on you floating piece of junk, come on!!
One shot at him and he dodged it. As he did the water tower then crash down releasing a whole lot of water. I quickly got off of groot to drink some water and restore my thirst.
89p13: sook it up you two
Groot: I am groot
Me: ya, not bad ring tail
89p13: we make a great team
Just then 89p13 got shocked to the ground.
Voice: return subject 89p13 to confinement.
He wasn't giving up though. Once the shocking stopped he got up and started pulling on the cord attaching him to the drone.
89p13: Get offa me, you stinkin can opener!
I then feel a inner temper in me and I run over and swipe the cord so it cuts clean off. 89p13 looks at me shocked that I'd do that. I feel surges of electricity run through me as I fall to the ground holding my head.
Voice: subject 15r20 return to containment
The voltage stops as I try to get up. Groot then wraps a vine around my collar like chain and snaps it off.
Voice: violation
Groot: I am groot
Me: thanks bud
I then run off the and land on my drone, now the drone starts flying up.
Me: way of transportation?
I then leap off and land on the other side. I look to my left to see 89p13 following my lead.
89p13: a Ravager ship, perfect
We then get aboard and started at the ship
Me: for maximum maneuverability!
89p13: gunships utilize ion thrusters!
Voice: subjects 89p13 and 15r20, return to your cells
Me: wait we can't leave groot
89p13: you think I'd forget him
He then started to shot at drones below with the blasters.
89p13: why does this feel so right?
Me: I know!
We then started laughing at the destruction happening below us. I aim one bomb at groot's restraint and fired. As expected the target hit and groot was free.
Groot: I am groot!
Me and 89p13 exit the Ravager ship
Voice: subject 89p13 and 15r20 cease all defiant activity.
89p13: I got your defiant activity right here!
He then start to dodge lasers and destroy more drones
Me: hey save some for me!!
I then follow suit with dodging and destroying. Me and 89p13 then get to the same drown and started to hack it.
89p13: we'll show you how to build a better bot!
Me: let's see what we got here.
89p13 then looks at me with a smirk but still working.
89p13: Photonic bombs, baby
I then join in the fun
Me: neutronic detonators,
89p13: proton cannon with..
89p13 and me: negativity charge beams that can pierce metal skin!
We look at each at that part. He then blinks his eyes then shuts them and puckered his lips.
Me: what are you doing?
89p13 the opens his eyes and says with his lips still puckered.
89p13: nothing
We then put the packs on our backs and jumped out one at a time.
Voice: subjects 89p13 and 15r20 you will surrender
89p13: we surrender to nobody
I then press the button that blasts us off at high speed. I have to admit I went over board on that, but it was super fun. I shoot lots of drones and so did 89p13. Just then the drone ahead reached his claw out to grab us.
89p13: a rocket is both a means of propulsion and a weapon.
When he said that he Unstrapped both of us from the rockets. The rockets then blow up the drone in contact. Me and 89p13 stop rolling and it ends in rocket being on top of me, and us looking straight at each other. He smirks and I just give him a deadpanned look. I look a little behind him and see his tail is a little bit on fire.
Me: um ring tail? The reason for your nickaname is on Fire.
He then sits up and and starts patting down his tail, putting the fire out. I just lied there laughing mine off. I then sat up nearly in tears for laughing so hard just to see 89p13 looking at me with a weird but calm face.
Me: what?
89p13: nothing, you just... have a very nice laugh
My ear twitches the same time my nose does. Indicating that I was blushing, but no one needs to know that. I then see the control panel of the place through a window.
Me: hey ring tail come give me a boast.
I then sit on his shoulders and take the controls.
Me: subjects 89p13 and 15r20, mission complete. Ok bud let's get going.
I then realized that I was still on his shoulders.
Me: hey, I can get down now ya now.
89p13: ya, but your light so this is fine.
Me: but I'd like to get down now
89p13: so, I'll just carry you there
Me: just put me down ring tail
89p13: fine cutie
He then bends down for me to get down, then we started walking again.
Me: me, a cutie, please I'm gorgeous, if anything your the cutie.
He just smirks

89p13: oh I'm so offended
Me: stop acting smug
We then see the other experiments going free onto the planet, free and safe
89p13: your free to roam my friends, huh??
We turn to see three more raccoons running in our direction.
89p13: hey ma! Huh?
They then run past us and the same way as the others.
89p13: Ma! 'Sniff'
I turn to him to see him tearing up
89p13: guess I'm different now. There ain't no thing like me.
Me: hey what am I supposed to be, plus your lucky you have a family to remember.
We then look ahead to see groot actully make it out ok.
Me: hey groot your looking great.
As I say that I climb up to his right shoulder and sat there looking at rocket.
Me: well I guess it's time to give myself a new name, something tells me having a name like subject 15r20 isn't gonna give me any respect.
I look around a little to choose a name.
Me: my name is ... (y/n)
Groot: I am groot
89p13: and I'm .... Rocket
Me: nice to formally meet you, rocket
Rocket: you to, (y/n)
Yep both of those names sound right to me.
Rocket: and we are outta here!
We three get back on that Ravager ship about to take off.
Me: ya know I'm a way, I guess we do make a pretty good team.
Groot: I am groot
Rocket: you said it, now let's see how fast this baby goes!
We then take of going as fast as we can.
Me and rocket: WOO-HOO!!
As we go now I'm wondering what's going to happen with us. A cat, a raccoon, and a tree. What could happen?
