I was currently throwing a lot of stuff out the ship. The less weight on, the faster it will go. Rocket and groot were just watching me and thinking of they should stop me or not.
Judge: A massive turnout here with racers all over the galaxy, competing in this year's Nebula-thon 500.
I heard that this years winner gets 500,000 credits and if we win it we'll have a cold 1,000,000.
Judge: will return champion Blackjack O'Hare once again take home our prize.
I find a pizza box and chuck it out the open hatch.
Me: and this can go, and this.
I push the fridge out. The boys go to look where it landed to look for it later.
Groot: I am Groot.
Rocket: ya babe are ya sure this is necessary?
I pushed my back against a box to get it out of the ship.
Me: not really, I gotta lighten the load of the ship if I wanna win.
I ran back in after getting the box off the ship.
Me: what other dead weight is there??
I then had a look of realization. I ran to the two bathrooms. I was for rocket and groot and the other was for me.
Me: you guys should probably go do your business now, because I'm not making any stops.
Groot heads into the bathroom meant for him and rocket.
Me: rock, just this once I'll let you use mine I already went, and please when you leave, just put the seat down.
Rocket: why wouldn't I
Me: because sometimes I walk in and get my butt stuck in the toilet, and groot's to tall to fit in there.
Rocket: all right ok
He goes in and I lock both doors and release them from the ship.
Me: sorry guys but we need this prize.
I then go to the control deck of the ship after closing the hatch. I pull out some tricks I added last minute to our ship.
Me: that O'Hare doesn't stand a chance.
On your marks
I pull the controller on my lap and put my fingers in place.
Get set
I pull the controller closer up to my chest
Go!
I push the jet button and took off fast
Me: whoo hoo hoo! Eat my dust, suckers!!
I was literally pushed into my seat because of how fast I was going. I slow down a little to see that blackjack guy was right next to me.
Me: I hate that guy.
I then lick my thumb and press the button that releases the claw. The claw pops out of its hatch, grabs his ship and push's him further behind. I was in the middle of laughing over how easy this was when I felt a jolt. I look up to see a claw made out of lightning pull me behind him.
Me: hey, that's cheating!!
I then push the button for the cannon and hit him with the beam. His claw had a bat and swung the beam right back at me. I had to try to go over it but it ended in me falling off the track. I speed up the ship and pull up to get back on the track. I pressed a switch with out looking at the label m, already knowing what it does. The saw, I look through a rear view mirror to see his ship got sawed in half. He uses his claw to magically wield his ship back together and rear bump my ship, knocking out our ships but I still needed to win. So I slipped on my back pack, pressed a button on the bottom of the strap and the jets sprung on. I open the hatch and used my jet pack to try and for the rest of the way. Blackjack seemed to have the same idea instead using his robotic legs to boost himself. I kick at him to see if he'll loose balance. Then he tries to hug tackle me which I almost didn't dodge. I just decided it was better to just go and win instead of going after him, to which he follows. When me and him were neck and neck about to cross the finish line something smacks us both to the ground really hard. I have my head and arms uncovered and see it's the bathroom pods with rocket and groot.
Groot: I am groot
Judge: We have a winner
I see he's holding up groot's hand. I look up a little more to see rocket now getting out of the other pod really quickly and getting over to me.
Rocket: babe, talk to me are you ok
Me: yep, just as I planned! I'm a genius.
I put my head back down with my hand out with my thumb up.
For the rest of the night rocket and groot just let me heal up and rest in my room. I really underestimate them sometimes.
