Pacifica and I swim to the shore, and and emerge from the water back onto the land, still soaking wet, although the blazing hot sun should dry us off. "Pacifica that was amazing!" I shout. Pacifica grins "I guess that lake monster wasn't as bad as the author made him look." Pacifica looks at me "Wait Dipper what about the papers? Aren't they-" I interrupt "Soaking wet? Nope!" I pull the papers and my journal out of my best pocket. Pacifica smiles. "Hopefully these papers have more clues about the author's identity" I say. "And Pacifica...can you not tell anyone about this?" Pacifica whispers "Of course I won't tell anyone about there being a lake monster!" I sigh awkwardly "We'll yes, but Im talking about the you know what..." Pacifica smiles "You mean the kiss? Dude I was overreacting about it...it was sweet." I blush "I mean I guess it was kinda my first kiss..." I say. Pacifica laughs "Mabel showed me the photo of you and that merman." She giggles. "I swear I was giving him reverse CPR!" I say smiling. There's silence as Pacifica and I stare into eachother's eyes. "Did you ever realize that the perfect person could be the last person you'd expect." says Pacifica blushing. I take her hand. "You." I say. "You." She says. Together we walk off into the forest, leaving our hatred for eachother behind.
