Tyson's P.O.V
I had caught up to her within minutes. Every time i would slow down she would speed up she was scared of me i knew she was.
Then out of nowhere she was on the ground bleeding. I had no idea what to do. I slowed my pace and knelt besides her as she continued to scream
"Are you okay? I didn't mean to intimidate you-." I tried to put my arms around her body
"Leave me alone! Don't touch me!"
The words hit me like a series of silver bullets. Each syllable another bullet in my heart. Damaging my skin and burning my heart.
All the pain I was trying so hard to control was starting to reveal itself. I was pained by the fact she didn't know who I was. That she wanted to run from me.
"I'm sorry. Just let me help you. I grabbed your books when you left.
"I'm sorry give me another chance for me to make it up to you." I felt ashamed of the way I treated her. My mate was afraid of me and didn't even realize she was mine. She had to be younger than 18 because she obviously she didn't know what i was to her.
"Did you feel that too?" I smiled but to my surprise a look of fear flashed upon her face for a moment as she looked at me with her bright hazel eyes.
"My name is Kennidi by the way." The way she spoke sent butterflies to my stomach. I wanted to mark her but i know i would only make it harder for her to trust me.
"That's beautiful. My names Tyson. "
"Well Tyson i'm hurt kinda bad do yo think you could take me to the campus nurse?"
"Don't worry i'll take care of you." The fact that my mate was in pain killed me. I wanted to talk to her about it but found her asleep in my arms as i walked her back to campus. I looked down at her tanned face. Her hazel eyes closed peacefully. Her full lips that i was desperately wanting to kiss.
I hadn't realized i was in front of the nurses office on campus. I opened the door and was greeted by the nurse wit a warm smile. I looked down at Kennidi in a gesture to tell the nurse to stay quiet. She nodded and pointed to the bed in the corner.
I walked over and tried to put her down, only to have her to nestle deeper into my hold making me smile wide. I sat on the small bed and layed her down holding her head on my waist and twisting a piece of her curly hair around my finger.
"I've never seen you around here before. How do you know young Kenni?"
" Oh...uhh well I kinda chased her because....she's my mate." I ribbed the back of my neck anxiously waiting for the nurses response.
" She doesn't know does she?" I shook my head and the nurse gave me a warm smile. " I think you'll be good for her. Now you should leave so i can take care of her." i nodded and headed out the door leaving her stuff with her.
All i could think about were the words the nurse just said 'I think you'll be good for her.' I was happy about the words but i didn't understand the meaning behind them. I just walked back to he cafe to get my car thinking. 'Please love me too.'
Kennidi"s P.O.V
I woke up in the nurses office bandaged up although it should only take a couple of hours to a day to heal. I was scared of the guy Tyson i had no clue what he wanted from me and i didn't want to find out. But i couldn't help myself. When i looked into his green eyes i just wanted to absorb his warmth from his arms and never let i go.
"Hey nurse Lizzy i'm going to go back to my room and study before i got to sleep." I got up and picked up my bag and was halfway out the door when nurse Lizzy came out with gloves on.
"Okay honey. But i want to ask you something." I sat down nervous as she took off her gloves and put them on the counter. "Do you feel funny around the guy who brought you here?"
"Tyson? Uhh.. i don't know i mean he's just so dominate like he can't control himself." i spoke honestly letting my feelings flow out of my mouth.
"Well sweetheart just don't make assumptions to quickly okay?"
"Okay." I didn't understand what it meant but i was going to definatly keep i in mind. I got up and hugged her " Thank you."
