༄Why? Oh God, why?༄

A young male with dark red hair, a large scar near the left temple, sat besides a delicate albino, a large bruise gathering on the females head.

Tanjiro carefully cleaned up the girls wound, as the blood that had exited the small cuts and scratches had leaked the warm red liquid. As he dabbed away at the blemishes, he also pondered on the reason why he found a cute girl on the snow, passed out.

Tanjiro stumbled down his moutain, going for another errand as it was the start of winter which meant he needed to make as much money as he could for his family.
Upon going down the icy, white blanketed road, he saw what looked like a person lying in the snow. Curious, confused and concerned, he quietly walked towards the figure.
As he came closer with each silent step, he saw a bewitching girl.
Her hair was as white as the snow, blending in with the background, ivory skin, a perfect figure and a beautiful kimono.
Tanjiro blushed, the heat on his face becoming a hot contrast to the prickly air.
Shaking his head, he inspected the female even further before noticing how her head appeared to be injured. Panicking, Tanjiro carefully put one arm under the girls knees and one under her back before heaving himself up.

Tanjiro let out a sigh, getting up from his sitting position on the floor. Turning on his heel to leave, he heard a cough. And then another, and another. Whipping around, Tanjiro's gem like eyes widened as he saw the white haired female leaning over to her side, coughing into her fist.

Rushing to her side, Tanjiro helped the girl sit up before calling for his brother, Takeo, for some water.

Hayami looked around, she was in a unfimilar room. Looking down, she closed her eyes as a painful headache washed over her. 'Ah, right...I think I have a fear of flying branches now.' She thought nonchalantly as the headache didn't evaporate.

As she darted her grey eyes around, she saw a boy with a pretty red head. Hayami leaned forward to him, causing the boy's blood to rush to his face but he didn't dare move.
Hayami inspected the boy, checking for any signs of danger or malice, only to come up empty handed. Tilting her head, she gave the boy one of her famous warm eyes-closed smiles.
"Ne, thank you for taking care of me." She hummed.

The boy, still flustered, nodded. Not able to preform a proper welcoming as he was still confused and bashful. "Gah, uh, your- Im, ah geez..." The boy grumbled with a pout, making Hayami stifle a small giggle upon the adorable expression on her saviors face.

Leaning away from him, she sat up straight. The boy could practically see stars and flowers emitting from the girl, it was a sight to behold from when he first found her.

"Ano, m-my name is Tanjiro Kamado." He introduced, sitting properly after realising how he was sitting in 'disgraceful' manner. Hayami smiled again, a warm air surrounding the girl as though she was the goddess of beauty herself. "Nice to meet you Kamado-San, I am Hayami Eshima." She responded respectfully.

Hayami soon for on her hands and knees, her head down. The gesture causing Tanjiro to blush once again as he started to panic.
"Thank you, Kamado-San, for saving me from the winter." She sat up again, her eyes soft, swirling with gratitude. Tanjiro waved it off, chuckling bashfully. "Ne, it's fine Eshima-San. And please, just call me Tanjiro." He asked, a warm feeling in his stomach.

Hayami nodded, making a small noise of acknowledgement.

Then, the sliding door to the room slammed open as a boy who looked similar to Tanjiro barged in with a cup of water. "Nii-Chan! I got the water-" The boy paused upon seeing the beautiful girl who the village would spread folklore about. Takeo blushed, quickly yet carefully placing the water by Hayami before rushing out.
