As a Wattpad writer, do any of you have any regrets? I do. My biggest one is taking The Meaning Games off of Wattpad, for fear, once is started to succeed. I'm not sure what I was scared of. Someone plagiarising it? Someone hating it? I definitely wasn't scared of it succeeding, but for my worries I took it down and never really gave it that chance to flourish that it could have had. This story first went up in 2012, and it was taken down in 2013. Now, despite being a new decade with a new generation of readers and a whole load more writers, I'm putting my heart on my sleeve and taking a leap of faith in my work, and putting it back out there for you.
And for those of you still reading this, thank you. I need to start believing in myself and my writing again - for my children, if not for me, and this book may be that second chance. If you're into books/programmes like Gossip Girl and Pretty Little Liars, you might just have found a book for you.
