Chapter 1 : 🌪

I stood at the doorway to my house letting the realisation sink in, I was moving country. Holy shit!

I had said goodbye to all my friends the day before ngl it was pretty sad 🥺😭. I had a small group of  close friends but I didn't really fit in with them. Girls can be so toxic 💀!

Mom : " Valerie hurry up, your taking so long ! We're gonna miss the flight if you keep on moving at the pace of a slug !"

Val: " I'm cominggg, I just have so much stuff !!"

Mom : "and it's all a load of rubbish! Val your such a hoarder:) !"

Val: "I am not!" I chuckled "who do you think I got that from."

I walked to the car where my mom was standing. She sighed at the  sight of the hundreds of bags I was carrying .

I got into the Uber and put my AirPods in. I couldn't believe it. The place I had grown up in , I was leaving behind. My mom had been offered a new job  in New Jersey and she really wanted to take it. If I had the choice to stay I probably would stay but it's only fair on my mom. After my dad died everything went down hill for our family. My older brother went to uni and my mom could no longer afford to keep running our family business. My mom really needed a fresh start and I guess so did i. I had only just got out of a toxic relationship which really fucked stuff up for me. People would constantly judge me, no one knew my side of the story. No one believed me.
