Chapter 1 Lets Party

"Now Miranda you promise you won't have anyone over?" asked her mother. Her mother was in a red dress while the man next to her dressed in a black tux. They both were good looking. Miranda rolled her eyes "I promise"
"Was that some type of attitude" shouted her father. "Richard" said his wife trying to stop him from getting aggressive towards their only daughter. "What Kelly" he spat only to see her terrified face. Miranda saw it too, her mother's pretty face it looked frightened as if it was the first time someone or something have scared her.
"No Kelly hon please dont be afraid of me" he said as he quickly hugged her and held her closely. She then put her head on his shoulder and rest it there feeling safe and his gentle comfort.
Miranda didn't say anything but pretty shocked on what just happen, it felt strange because it never happen in front of her eyes or at all at her birth, her parents have been always happy even after Greg's birth who is my older brother. He's currently in college studying about law as he wants to become a lawyer someday. Me I dont know what I want to do or be in the future. All I want to do is go to school, be with my boyfriend, friends, and do whatever I want because when graduates comes around then I will either have to go to college or get a job because my parents might do something now dont get me wrong I love my whole family but sometimes me and my parents have little fights well mostly me and my dad, he thinks I have bad influences from school and not really responsible when it comes to even the little things but my mother is nicer to me also my big brother who I dont see often because he lives far away but we still letter and chat, it's really great to have a supportive older sibling that you can really connect with and have a comfortable conservation without panicking that he is a stranger.
"I'm sorry hon" apologized Richard giving her a kiss on the head. Kelly got off her husband "Its okay"
Her eyes was a little wet and her makeup was ruined well not all of it but her eye liner was smeared
Mira what's wrong?
I put my two index fingers under my eyes.
She touched both under her eyes and saw black eye liner. "Oh my eyeliner got smeared"
I nodded and gave her a smile silly mom I thought.
"Richard could I quickly redo my make up?" she asked with a smile.
"Of course Kell" he answered with a smile.
She went to their bedroom in a joyful mood.
"I'm sorry sweetie" apologized Richard.
"For what?"
"Yelling at you all the time" he said sitting next to her on the bed.
"Its alright dad your right most of the time I dont take much responsibility and I just spend my days wasting time doing foolish things and hanging out with my friends and I dont think much of what I want to do in my future" says Miranda
"I know you miss Greg, so do I, your mother  but he's getting ready for his future so maybe I just getting my stress out on you, my baby girl, I just wanted to say that I will always be there for you and I'll always love you" Richard says giving her a hug.
"I love you too dad"
About 6 minutes later Kelly comes in with a big smile on her face and her makeup redone. Richard stands up and kisses his daughter's head before grabbing his wife's hand and heading downstairs out the door to the car.
Miranda falls down to her bed and picks up her cellphone. 
She dials a number and waits until someone answers.
"Yeah hello"
"Hey babe"
"Hey"
"My parent's gone"
"What they are?
Hmm they went to one of their charity parties"
"Which one?" Asked the boy who was writing on a piece of paper.
"For the one where they are trying to help the homel11ess" she answered laying on her side.
"Well that's nice" he smiled
"What are you doing right now?" I asked with a little frown.
"Homework"
"Homework?"
"Yep"
"For how long?" I asked turning to my stomach.
"Almost an hour" he answered spinning his chair with the pencil.
"What class?"
"English we have to write a 1-5 page paper on something bad that happen to you or people that you care about"
"So what did you choose?"
He looked at his blank piece of paper
"Well besides my name and class hour I've got nothing" he answered in a disappointed  way.
"What how you had that whole time" I said in a little  angry tone.
"I know I can't believe I didn't even think of one thing during this whole period"
"Well what's troubling you, there a lot things that has happen to you and some of your friends"
"Yeah but I want it to be special"
"What do you mean by that?" I frowned.
"What I mean is something more, big, epic, significant something that changed my life either for the better or worse"
"Wow your really into this" I said widening my eyes.
"Well it sounds like a great topic and if I pass it then I won't have to worry about the class like I originally worried on the first  day but the teacher seems fine
"Who's the teacher?" I asked
"Mrs Ferris"
"Angela Ferris she's a sweet mid aged woman"
"Yeah that's what I've heard from a lot of my classmates and friends"
"Well I'm sure she'll take it easy on you since your friends with her son and daughter"
Yeah Cam and Lydia are just wonderful"
"Yeah they are especially when we all hang out together"
"Yup"
"So what do you think about the Ferris siblings, Do you have any feelings for any of them?
Babe you know I'm in love with you why would you bring something like that?
"I was just testing you, to see if you will love me forever"
"Hold up forever is kinda a big stretch"
"What you won't be with me that long
"No baby I didn't mean that its just we wont know we still have our long years ahead so maybe we shouldn't assume things and just stay in this time"
"Your right, I'm sorry if I lost control there"
"Its alright it happens to everyone"
"Even you?"
"Well you could say that" said the boy leaning back against his chair.
"Andy come over so we could throw a party"
"Really?"
"Yeah and we'll invite just our friends"
"Are you sure that's a good idea?
Oh come on what could possibly go wrong" I said shrugging it off as nothing.
"Well okay if you sure it will be fine"
"Of course it will be a piece of cake
"Then let's party"
