The couple woke up to the sound of heavy knocking on their front door, Holly jumped to the floor and raced over to the noise barking like mad, groaning loudly Jungkook rolled lazily off the sofa and onto the floor, landing with a thud he looked up and saw Yoongi grinning at him with his usual gummy smile, the smile he fell in love with "who come knocking at this time of day" he mumbles, dusting himself down Jungkook fumbled with the key as he tried to open the door, he had a frosted glass door so it was difficult to figure out who was waiting outside, before Yoongi had even properly gotten up from the sofa there was a quick blur of movement before being tackled to the floor by an unknown mass.
"Why didn't you tell me?" A familiar voice questioned excitedly, the feeling of a wet tongue of his face made Yoongi squeal "Jimin why the hell are you licking me, get off!" Pushing the boy away he sat up to see Holly staring at him, tongue dangling from his mouth; Yoongi looked back from Jimin to the little pup that didn't have a clue what was going on and apologised "my bad, I'm sorry."
The group of seven sat in the garden discussing the news that they'd longed to hear, they'd heard rumours circulating around social media that the couple were inactive because they'd broken up, got arrested, been murdered there were all sorts of speculation and because neither of them had answered any messages from anyone the others had been getting concerned "why didn't you want to tell anyone?" Jin asked while playing with Holly, the two men shared a look of uncertainty and Namjoon asked "you guys are okay right? Nothing bad happened, did it."
"Somebody got into some illegal matters that resulted in the announcement of the wedding being delayed and because of that it just didn't get talked out, we were told we couldn't mention anything about it so decided logging out of social media was the best we could do" Jungkook explained whilst staring daggers at his husband.
"For the record, it wasn't illegal the law just didn't agree with what I did" looking uncomfortable the subject was quickly changed over to Taehyung and Jimin "so how's the family plan working out for you guys?"
"It's going so well" Tae began with a beaming smile, holding onto Jimins hand he continued to explain how the process of adoption was going and that it shouldn't be long until they're given the final decision on whether or not they'll be allowed to adopt, everyone prayed that it would work. The group continued to hang out and have fun until the sun started to set for the night, Yoongi was starting to get grumpy from the noise and just wanted to be left alone, waving goodnight he made his way up to his and Jungkook shared bedroom, changing out of his clothes he decided to run himself a bath to help relax.
The floorboards creaked breaking the silence that lingered carelessly in the house, peaking around the door from the bathroom Yoongi saw the silhouette of a figure "babe, that you?" He called anxiously, surely he would've heard if someone had broken into the house "yeah baby, it's me don't worry" called a voice, emerging in the doorway stood Jungkook with a towel around his waist "you want to stay in the bath or move to the shower?" He winked.
