Kenneth Braxton had lost his mind.
When he called his ex-wife for a romp in the sheets, he hadn't expected Andria to walk through his front door. He just needed a temporary fix, a short release, and in the end it almost cost him the woman he truly wanted to be with. The hurt on Andria's face when she caught them almost broke Kenneth down to his knees. If he could take it back he would, but he couldn't and as he sat across from Andria in a twenty-four hour diner, Kenneth could still see her hurt, her fear.
"Why did you do that?" Andria finally asked before taking a sip of water. Her eyes pinned him as she no doubt waited for him to answer.
Kenneth wanted to lie, but what was the point in that?
"I don't know Andria," He began as he ran his hand down his face. "You were at work, and this is-"
"Save the excuses Mr. Braxton and answer my question. Why?" Andria said her face turning up in aggravation.
Had they been in the privacy of one of their penthouses, Kenneth would have took her over his knee for her tone of voice, but Andria had made it clear nine years ago that she was only willing to submit behind closed doors. Any other time she was and would be her own woman.
"Lack of common sense. I was thinking with my dick, and not my head. I know that sounds like an excuse too, but it's the truth. Having you last night was magical, and although I wanted to fuck you, I want us to take some time, but blue balls isn't on my shortlist of things to have."
"So you get a hooker?"
"That was no hooker Andria, that was my ex-wife." A deafening silence overtook the conversation and Kenneth was sure he was about to have to chase Andria out of the restaurant. But to his surprise, after a few beats of silence the woman before him to started to giggle. The giggle soon turned into hearty laugh, and Kenneth sat in confusion.
"What's so funny?" He asked.
"It's just...." Andria laughed harder before biting down on her bottom lip in hopes of stifling her laughing fit. When she had composed herself Kenneth waited patiently for her to the sentence. "She looks exactly like the woman I thought you'd marry. Blonde, petite, with a pair of big tits."
Kenneth rolled his eyes and chuckled. Constantine wasn't his first choice as a wife, that was Andria, but a promising threat from her father kept him at bay. And when he couldn't have the woman of his desire, he had but one option and that was to settle.
That's exactly why the marriage didn't last more than two years. After the sex got boring, Constantine didn't have anything to offer Kenneth. All she ever did was spend his money and make sure the paparazzi caught her coming out of high end places looking like a fashion model. The shallow woman didn't have an ounce of smarts or common sense, but she could take his whole cock down her throat, which wasn't an easy task.
"I couldn't have you, so I guess I settled for a woman people expected me to be with. I'm sorry you had to see me like that today. Please forgive me Andria." Kenneth reached over the table and grabbed Andria's hand. She stared at him without a word before taking a large breath.
"Do you know that I've never been in a committed relationship?" Andria began softly. Kenneth watched her tongue dart out to lick her bottom lip, as she ran her free hand through her hair. "It's not like men haven't tried to be with me, it just...I could never give them what they wanted and I don't like wasting peoples time."
"You could have missed out on the man who would've loved you and refrained from stupid shit like I did today." Kenneth said. The words left a bad taste in his mouth but it was the truth.
"That's the thing Kenneth. Even if he was the most magical man in the universe, and gave me all the riches I asked for, he wouldn't have been you. If I would have married someone else, and you walked back into my life again, I would drop them without question because you are who I've been in love with since I saw you peeking over my fence when I was fifteen."
"Hey, I wasn't peeking. I let you know that I was looking, there's a difference." Kenneth said with a smile. Andria didn't return it, instead she just stared at him. He knew she was probably fighting an eternal battle. It hadn't been twenty-four hours and she'd already caught him with another woman. He was off to a horrible start.
"Last night I was ready to have you fully with no restraints, but not anymore Kenneth. Now I want to slow down, take our time, and do this right."
"What are you implying Andria?"
"That we date. Treat this how we would treat it if we were complete strangers meeting for the first time."
"Do we still get to play?" Kenneth asked hopefully, but when he saw Andria face went hard, he knew the answer.
"To have me as you slave is a privilege Kenneth. It's me giving myself to you without restraints, allowing you to own me and use me how you see fit. So to answer your question, I'm not sure . I want our relationship to have a strong foundation, and we have so much to learn and catch up on. It's been nine years. Neither of us are who we use to be, and I want us to get to know the people we are now. It's that okay with you?"
If Kenneth had it his way, he'd play and get to know Andria in the process, but she wasn't a little innocent sixteen year old girl anymore. She was a woman, the Marketing Executive of a one of the most prestigious architects in the world, and Kenneth knew she was right. A lot had changed, more than even Andria knew, and when she found out the truth, he wasn't sure how she'd react to it.
"I'd like to go home now." Andria spoke softly pulling Kenneth out of his thoughts.
"My place or yours?" He joked with a wink as he slid out of the booth. Twenty minutes later Kenneth stood outside of Andria's penthouse rocking on his feet, with his hand pushed into his jean pockets. He felt nineteen again, the only difference was a petite big eyed little girl wasn't staring back up at him.
"Well, I'll see you later." Andria said with a smile on her face, she then stood on her tiptoes and kissed Kenneth. It wasn't a sweet goodbye peck, it was a full on heated kiss and it both confused and aroused him. When Andria pulled away, Kenneth leaned his forehead against hers and took large breaths.
"Let me take you out on a proper date tomorrow. I'll pick you up at seven." Kenneth stated as he looked into Andria's eyes. He knew he wasn't asking, and he could tell Andria liked that. The dynamic of their relationship was based on his control, but he wanted to change that.
Kenneth wanted the root of their relationship to be love and trust, and the control would come later. He knew what it felt like to dominant Andria, and he wanted to know what it was like to properly love, and be loved by the beautiful woman that stole his heart.
