Gary's pov

Back at home, I was sitting on the couch with my husband Ash and sister Girly along with the twins Alex and Ashley. We were silently watching TV when one of the twins struck up a conversation. "Hey, Dad?" My daughter Ashley said. "Yes?" I looked away from the TV so I'm not being rude. "How did you and Aunt Girly meet? Because you told us that you didn't know Aunt Girly was your sister until you all were teenagers." Alex asked. "Oh, man. That's a long story. Is there anything else along with that you two would like to know?" I replied. "How did you all come to be how you are now?" Ashley asked another question. "Can you clarify what you mean by that?"

"How did you meet Aunt Girly and how did you find out you two are siblings? Alex clarified. "Ooh. Okay. The three of us will be happy to explain how we are here today." I smiled. "Sis you wanna start or? Do I say my side first?" I asked looking at Girly. "Say your side first bro bro." I nodded.

"It started when...." I went into a flashback when I first met Girly.

I told my mom I was gonna go outside and play and look at some Pokémon. I walked to the playground then sat down on the slide.

I was outside at the playground watching the Pokémon roam around freely. A couple of flying types in the sky. Plant types playing in the grass. But then out of the bushes, a girl around my age with long brown hair was chasing after a Pichu.

I decided to help her. She kinda looked like she was really struggling. It was kinda funny. I ran in front of the Pichu and she ran behind it. She finally caught him and picked her up. "Thanks for the help. What's your name?" She asked. "No problem but it's Gary. What's yours?"
"It's Destiny." She smiled. "You wanna be friends?" I asked. "Yeah!" She exclaimed and hugged me.

"So who's Pichu is that?" I asked. "My cousin's. I was just watching her while my cousin is away." I nodded.

This feels nice. I feel like I knew her but at the same time I don't. I feel like I can really get along with her. "Hey you wanna hang out at my house?" I asked. "Well I don't know. It's my dad that's kinda a problem. I need to ask him before I go anywhere too far." she says.

"Oh okay. Well you want me to walk you home then?" I ask. "Sure." She smiles.

As I was walking her to her house I realized her house is next to mine. "Hey you live next door to me." I said. "Really? You live there?" She asks pointing to my house. I nodded "Well if you ask your parents if you can come over just tell them I live next door." I say. She smiles. "I will." She walks inside. I go and wait in front of my house just in case.

My POV

"Hey my turn now! I'm gonna continue the story from my point of view now." I say excitingly. "Now this was what was happening at my parents house when I was asking them to go to Gary's...

I walked inside and walked in the living room to see my dad watching TV. I let Pichu run free in the house. "Hey Dad. Can I ask you something?" I say. "What?" He says. "Can I go over to my friends house?" I ask. He looks away from the TV and looks at me. "Who is this friend and you know you're not allowed to go over to anyone's house without me meeting the kids parents." I look down. Dang it. Why is this so difficult to ask. "They only live next door." I say. "You mean that family next to us? The boy?? You want to go to a boys house?" He asks. Ugh great now I'm not going. "But he's really cool. And... it's like. He's different but like a good different. And it's like I knew him before but I don't know him like that. But it feels right that I get along with him so well and surprisingly quick." I admit. Gary just feels like a completion in my life. But I don't like him like that. "Alright. You can go over." My eyes light up and I hug my dad. "Thank you!!" I smile.

I run back outside and go to Gary's house. "He said yes! For the first time I can go over to someone's house!" I exclaim. "Well without my parents that is."
"Cool! Then come in." He gets up from his porch steps and opens the door.

I walk inside and looked around. His house looks nice. "You wanna see what I have in my room?" He asks. I nod. "Don't I have to meet your parents or something? Not like invite me in here without permission?" I ask. He shrugs. "My parents are fine with it as long as you're not a old guy that can kill us." My eyes widen. Some uh dark words from Gary. I like that. I smile. "I won't kill you." I laugh. "I know. Well let's go to my room then." I nod and we walk upstairs to his room.

As he opens the door I see the room is filled with Pokémon posters, cards, and games. And well I guess boy things. "You wanna play some Pokémon games?" He asks pointing to his game system. I quickly nod. "Yeah!" I used to play on my cousins game system all the time. I kinda broke it though.

I'll try to contain my anger. If I lose. He hooks up the two controllers in the system and puts on a Pokémon game.

"So was the rest of the day just you two playing video games?" Ashley asked. "Well no. We technically hung out with each other everyday for the rest of the week. Our parents really saw that we gotten close so quickly. But little did we know. Gary's mom was actually my mom. Since Gary and I are brother and sister. So it's like we never knew each other but we kinda did at the same time." I explained.

"So that's how you met Aunt Girly dad?" Alex asked. "Yea that's how it went. We can never forget that." Gary said.

"So now how did you meet dad?" Ashley asked Gary. "Ahh that's a story for another day. Too much to remember. Kinda hurts." He laughed. "We can tell you more tomorrow. How your father met your other dad." I said. They pouted but decided to accept that. "Okay." They said.
