It was almost 1 am.
Y/n was watching a movie on Netflix, as she had this idea to check up on Yeosang and so she quietly crept towards his room. She entered without knocking, afraid she'd wake him up.

She saw him, lying on his bed, staring at the ceiling. He looked at her.

YEOSANG:
"why aren't you asleep yet?
It's pretty late."

Y/N:
"Mom and dad asked me not
too. They're worried about
you."

Y/N:
"I'm worried about you too."

Y/n whispered. It was true, after all. He sat up on his bed, as he faced her.

YEOSANG:
"there's no need to be worried.
I'm fine. Perfectly fine."

Y/N:
"stop lying to yourself and
to me. You keep on saying
you're fine, but are you
really?"

YEOSANG:
"yes, goddamn it, I'm fine!"

He yelled, causing Y/n to be taken aback.

Y/N:
"Yeosang-"

YEOSANG:
"no one has asked you to be
a superhero. I didn't ask for
your help, alright?"

He interrupted. Clearly, he was pissed.

YEOSANG:
"you're always trying to
save me, but have you tried
saving yourself, huh?"

He hissed. Of course, it was true.

Y/N:
"yes I have."

Her voice broke.

Y/N:
"and there's no point
in saving dead things."

She slammed the door shut. Fuck Yeosang and his honesty. She was just trying to help. Even though pushing him was not the best idea, but he got mad so quick, she didn't even have time to think through what you were saying.

Y/n rushed to her room and wished he didn't follow her. She buried her head in her arms, tears running down her face. Why was she so upset over something that was the truth?

She heard footsteps heading towards the room, as someone opened the door. She felt the edge of the bed dip.

Only her sobs could be heard.

YEOSANG:
"I'm sorry."

YEOSANG:
"I really didn't mean to
take it out on you."

YEOSANG:
"you were trying to look out
for me and help me. And I'm
just a dumb ass. I really don't
know what got into me."

He inched closer towards her.

YEOSANG:
"I can't stand being
the reason you're hurt."
