I lost my focus and it all soon vanished, the small orb falling to the ground. Midoriya was amazed by the sheer power that I had released. "W-what was that?!" I nearly screamed. "Y-you r-really meant it when you said you n-never used your quirk before...huh?"
"Well did you think I was lying?!"
"N-no, I-I thought it was a joke..."
"Why would I joke about that?"
"U-uh I-I d-don't r-really k-know..."
"Whatever, so what is my quirk exactly?"
"I-It seems to be some form of elemental quirk, but that wouldn't explain the stars... Maybe it's an astronomical quirk? No, that doesn't explain the elements... Wait, what about that orb? Didn't you make one with your quirk?"
"Um, yeah I think so. It should be right here," I sated bending down to grab the spherical object a little light headed. Yawning I handed Midoriya the orb for him to examine. "It seems you have made a small galaxy... Wait, that would explain the stars and the elements... I t-think your quirk is galaxy related... what were your parents quirks," Midoriya asked and began writing in his notebook at lightning speed.
"A-ah, well I don't really know," I nervously scratched the back of my neck. "M-maybe we can ask my grandma," I stated quickly then began to run home. "W-wait for me (y/n)!"
When we arrived at the apartment complex, we went into my new home. "Grandma, me and my new friend Midoriya have a question," I exclaimed. "Oh? What is it flower?"
"Well I wanna know what my parent's quirks were," I stated matter-of-factly. "Oh, dear your parents, they were both quirkless," she answered. "S-so they were both like me," Midoriya stated. "Oh child, you're quirkless as well," my grandma turned to Midoriya. "Well grandma what is your quirk?"
"My quirk? It's nothing special really, I can see the future. The only thing is, when I tell someone the future, I temporarily go blind, depending on the importance of the future, the time varies. If I tell someone that they're going to have a break up I only go blind for around 5 minutes, but if it's something extremely important then I could go blind for 5 to ten years, give or take."
"Woah grandma that's really cool!"
"Interesting," the greenette started to write in his notebook. "But you see, I can give people small hints on what will happen and only go blind for 5 to 30 seconds," my grandma explained. "Oh, I see," I said, finally understanding her quirk. "Well flower have you found yours yet?"
"Oh yeah! I did! Midoriya wrote about it in his journal, to be honest he could probably explain it to you better than me," I said sheepishly. Midoriya just handed her his notebook. "I-I gave your quirk a name I-I hope y-you don't mind." He had a nervous blush on his cheeks, with his head facing the floor. "Actually, I wouldn't have known what to call it if you didn't name it! Plus I barely know anything about quirks at all," I muttered that last part under my breath, so nobody heard it.
A knock sounded on our door. "I got it," I shouted. When I opened the door I saw Inko standing there. "Hello again Inko," I said enthusiastically. "Is Izuku in here?"
"Yeah, want me to get him for you?"
"Yes, thank you. Oh, would you and your grandma like to come over for dinner, I made extra."
"Hm, that sounds nice, I'll go tell them! Izuku your mom made dinner! Grandma she wants us to join her for dinner as well!"
"Okay flower, we'll be right there," my grandma told me. We walked next door and sat down at their small four seated table. "We haven't been formally introduced Inko, have we? I'm Miharu Mika, you may call me Mika if you would like," my grandma introduced herself. "Midoriya Inko, it is nice to meet you Mika. Do call me Inko."
"Oh, and Izuku I presume, please call me grandma Mika, I insist." She doesn't look like a sweet old lady but she sure acts like one. We conversed over our meal, and everything seemed perfect. It was getting late and my grandma said that we should head back next door.
"Hey grams I've gotta question, when do I start school?"
"Tomorrow, dear."
"Shit."
"Language, (y/n)."
"Hey grams, can you teach me how to read Japanese?"
"Oh dear, I thought you were fluent in it?"
"Fluent speaking wise, it was only a hobby," I said sheepishly. "In that case, I was told you were given books written in Japanese, is that correct?"
"Yeah."
"Go grab them, and for the time being just say you're from America."
"Well I mean that is where I grew up, so yeah I was gonna say that anyways," I said. I quickly ran upstairs to my room and grabbed all of the books. When I came back down my grandma had Japanese picture books. "Right now, I think we should start with the hiragana and gradually have it get harder. Tonight I will teach you the whole hiragana."
'Oh boy, what have I gotten myself into...'

"Grams it's been two hours," I whined. "Have you memorized everything, flower," grams asked. "Yes, I've memorized everything down to the T," I answered tiredly. "Then get some rest, I will inform your school that you don't know how to read Japanese. Goodnight flower."
"Night grams."
