Digital covers are a lot easier to make than Drawn covers and, depending on the complexity, won't take as much time as Drawn covers.
That being said, Digital covers are cheaper. Also, digital covers will have more realistic attributes. For example, with characters, I will use real PNG's of the characters. With people, I will use real stock photos of people for a realistic look. However, there IS a limit to how accurate you'd like your cover to be to your imagination.

DIGITAL COVER RATES
Again, the rates depend on the complexity of the cover as well as the time it takes to make a cover. Here are the default rates if all goes according to plan and there are no complexities in the designs.
- Fanfiction Digital Cover - $5 These covers will use characters and are normally associated with fandoms.
- Original Series Digital Cover - $10 These covers will use stock photos and real models not associated with any fandoms.
