kumi's first real battle was when the nomu's took over hosu district and the villains took it as a chance to try and take what they wanted. she was approached by two men - one with a quirk that enabled him to stretch his arms as long as he wanted, and the other with nails in place of his teeth.
"tch. either quirkless and desperate, or you got stuck with a pretty shitty quirk, my friend," scoffed kumi. she shook her head, her scarf covering her nose and likely muffling her voice slightly. still, the thugs heard and a pair of arms shot towards her.
she jumped out of their reach, holding onto a light pole and pulling down her scarf to giggle innocently.
"oh man, i didn't think we had a pretty one on our hands," one of the men said as they slowly moved towards her. "we were just gonna rob you, but we might just make ourselves a little bit more comfortable-"
"you wanna rip my clothes off?" she asked, still feigning innocence. she could hear screams in the distance as the nomu's attacked bystanders. the alleyway was quiet, though, with no one around but the three of them.
"if you aren't a good little girl, we just might have to." the man with the stretchy arms cackled - an ugly laugh that caused kumi to nearly gag. men, so difficult. so self-involved. so horny.
"i'll be good, don't worry. i'm going to count down for you, and you can have at it." she said, closing her eyes and smirking whilst she stepped down from the light pole. the two thugs looked at each other in confusion but waited for the countdown.
"one," she said seductively, licking her lips and pulling open her trench coat slightly to reveal her skin tight bodysuit and emphasizing the movement of her breasts. the men basically drooled.
"twooo..." she continued, letting the trench coat slip off of her shoulders, to reveal her curves. her thigh-high boots accentuated her plump thighs and wide hips as the coat fell down her arms and completely off her body. to a normal person, her bodysuit looked like the suit of a hero, but that was just the con of it.
her hands slid from her thighs to mimic an hourglass curve around her hips, slipping behind her back and presumably unzipping her suit. the men were trembling in excitement. typical.
"three!" she laughed with joy as she pulled out two pistols from behind her back, originating from her belt. the triggers squeezed just as fast as her laugh rang through the air, and both bullets went right between the eyes of either man. both men collapsed to the ground in a crumpled heap of everything wrong about society.
kumi shrugged, rolling her eyes at their lifeless bodies while she pulled her scarf back over her nose. the scarf resembled that of one her father used to wear, a simple black scarf with a white line going directly down the middle. she stuck the guns back into their rightful places in her belt and scooped up her trench coat, quietly cursing herself for getting it on the disgusting sidewalk.
after brushing it off and putting it on again, off she went parading down the silent streets, further and further away from the fiery flames that were the hosu attacks.

after a couple blocks, she stopped, sighed, and tried to fix her bangs that had been messed up by the wind, before hearing a loud screech directly behind her. instead of turning around in surprise, she leaped to the side, safely avoiding the grasp of a flying creature with eyes bulging from its throbbing brain of a head.
the creature took a sharp turn and came right back for her, which she responded to by rolling on her shoulder away again and dashing down a different dimly lit street. she could now hear the wings of the large creature flapping behind her as the sound of her boots slamming against the pavement echoed against the buildings.
