Chapter 6

I felt my chest tighten. Lust couldn't be here.
I moved towards Ed and grabbed his hand. He looks at me and his cheeks faintly turned pink.
"What are you doing?" He asked.
"I'll explain it later." I whispered in his ear.

A nice girl named Rose took us to a place where we could sleep for the night. We got two rooms to split.
"Al you get the extra room. I need to keep an eye on the girl."
"I have a name you know!" I replied.
Al slowly walked to room.
Ed walked and closed the door then laid on the bed. "Ok so it's later. Now explain why you were holding my hand."
I looked down and sighed. "Well there was a person there...her and seven other people hate me now....they scary and very very very strong. " I grabbed a blanket from the bed and wrapped myself around it, making myself a little fort.
"So who was the very very very strong and scary person." Ed asked, not taking this serious.
I thought for a moment. 'If I tell him, Lust would kill me....then again she'll probably kill me anyway.'
I took a shaky breath and looked at him seriously. "Her name was Lust. She's evil and immortal. She's what you would call a homunculus."
"Wait you mean to tell me that those things are real...and they are evil?!" Ed shouted with a hint of panic in his voice.
I crawled over and covered his mouth with my hand. "Jeez you want the whole town to hear you?" I hissed in his ear.
Ed nodded and gently took my hand off his mouth. "Ok....I want you to tell me everything. From how you know them to the seven other people."
I felt sweat appear on the back of my neck. "I-I can't....I don't trust you enough to tell you."
Ed pouted. When I looked at his pouty face my mind went crazy. Here are some thoughts that went through my head: oh...my....flipping....gawd! I want to marry him.
I took a deep breath and stuttered, "I-if I tell you, y-you can't tell anyone."
Ed nodded and sat across from me now. "I promise I won't."
I looked at him for awhile. Staring into his golden eyes. For some reason I trusted him. Not like the trust I had with the homunculus, but like actual trust.
I couldn't help it...I wanted him to know...no I needed him to know.
"Ok so here's what I am going to tell you. When I was born my parents would not take a girl. Only boys. So they kinda took me to lab 13 where scientist did these weird experiments on me. Then one day the lab was destroyed. Completely obliterated. Then Lust came and saved me."
Ed looked at me for a minute processing what I said. "So what kinda of experiments did they do on you?"
I thought for a second. "Well they gave me the power to manipulate the elements, regeneration and teleportation." I said counting each of them on my fingers. "Oh and super strength."
Ed looked at me, mouth opened. "Oh dear god...your on outside right?"
"Hmmm I guess I am considering I haven't killed you yet."
