9~Nothing new
3 years later from the last chapter~
(Y/n)~ "(Y/n) come take a look at my new hero costume" Aunt Yu yelled.
I literally just woke up I-
"Of course" I yelled back, masking my irritation. As soon as I opened her door I regretted it. Blood shot from my nose as soon as I saw it, which I immediately wiped off.
"Who are you? Midnight! I'm not gonna let you walk around like that" I screeched, holding my head back a little, to stop more blood from rushing down.
"Aww, what? I thought it was cute..." she kicked the ground, bashfully. "I-I didn't mean to make you feel bad, just seriously?" I asked her. Overlooking the outfit, I know she actually cares about saving people.
Even if she likes attention, and complained about only being number 23 hero and steals spotlight from the other heroes and- okay this isn't actually helping her case much.
"Well, Midnight's coming to get you in a little bit, even though you already got in based off of recommendation" she sighed after saying that, rolling her eyes.
"Oh quit bringing it up, I just wanna see the test for this year and how my classmates quirks work in battle, plus I have to be there to support Kacchan and Deku, especially since Deku doesn't have a quirk" I mumbled the last part.
She frowned a bit then smirked at me. "Your always around those boys, don't you have a single female friend" She teased.
I looked down at my neck, the necklace that girl had given me about three years ago. I didn't consider her a friend, I didn't know her, but if she wants to be a hero, I might see her at U.A. I did however, respect how she wanted to thank Aunt Yu, even through another person.
But that wasn't the first time Aunt Yu was put in the hospital, it's all a part of a hero's job I guess.
Another reason I saw Todoroki so frequently.
"Hey, I know you guys missed me!" Midnight burst through the door, so hard it busted off of one hinge, I might add.
An irk appears on Aunt Yu's forehead as she ran up to her door getting on her knees. "Why can't you just walk in like a normal person!" She barked while Midnight ignored her completely.
It seems like they've been this way ever since I first got taken in by Aunt Yu but, I don't think they like each other very much.
"I see you've made some ahem! Skimpy! Ahem, adjustments to your hero outfit" Midnight muttered, coming to take my hand.
"What'd you say old woman, you're jealous because I look more youthful and hot than you!" Aunt Yu growls even more angry.
Ouch, I know Midnight absolutely hates comments about her age.
She just grunted and dragged me outdoors. Trying to be the bigger person doesn't look good on Midnight.
"So, where is that Tarantula of yours?" Midnight asked as we neared her car. "Oh, Quimi? I'm leaving her at home today but if I need her for something, I'll black hole her here" I responded.
She opened her car door and got inside. I, almost exactly after, opened my door, well tried to anyway, it was still locked.
"Hey (Y/n)," I flinched. I could've sworn I'd heard Kacchan talking to me, but it can't be because Kacchan doesn't call me by my name, he calls me 'stupid'
But no, lowe and behold, it was explodo boy in the flesh, walking in front of Mitsuki. "Where are you going?" He asked me.
"Oh, to U.A, what about you?" I asked and answered. "Same, but why are you going, didn't you say something along the lines of 'hero life not being for you'" he mocked me.
"Oh well-" I was interrupted. "Come on hurry (Y/n)," Midnight rushed me. "I'll tell you later" I finished opening my car door and closing after.
"I swear (Y/n), having all of those boyfriends is going to get you in trouble one day" she sighed, pulling out of the drive way.
I finally understood the rush and heat I'd feel around Kacchan, Deku, and Todoroki, Aunt Yu said I was blushing and that it's a natural reaction to have whenever you're flustered.
I still don't understand why for them. They're just my friends.
But anyway, I guess I'm blushing right now, everyone always implies that they're my boyfriends or that they like me, just something to throw me off guard and make me go red.
"Oh shut up, they're just my friends" I grunted, leaning back in my seat.
At U.A
"Get up, we didn't even go that far" Midnight tapped on my arm.
I tend to fall asleep on car rides, they're relaxing and besides, I didn't get much sleep last night, hence my insomnia.
I got out and closed my door behind me. It's not like a big shock or anything, I've been to U.A countless times, and the teachers here have helped me to better my quirk and use it for longer periods of time without fainting or having dizzy spells.
"Hey Midnight, can I please go see Eraser?" I asked her, widening my eyes, puppy dog style. "Like you wouldn't do it even if I said no~" She started. "It's not like you don't know your way around here, go ahead"
I smiled and gave Midnight a thumbs up before running toward the main gate.
Later~
"What are you here for?" He asked.
"Wow, I am offended! I can't come by and say hello to my favorite pro hero" I dramatically took a step backward.
He just glared at me and picked up his sleeping bag and rolled his eyes. "Okay, okay. It's because I wanted to see this years test for the students" I finally gave in.
"You know Present Mic is giving out instruction this year, in the auditorium" he grunted rolling his sleeping back up and walking out of the door where I came.
"W-Wait where are you going?" I asked. He didn't answer, just walked faster. I walked into the hallway halfway.
Well-
Someone ran into me, I could tell they were muttering for a while before they actually made contact with me.
"Oh hey Deku"
