Well, this is it. My first day of high school.
I am so nervous. Who knows what will happen? Will they like me? Will I fit in? These are questions that have been running through my mind for weeks.
I walk up the stairs to go to my locker. I glance around but quickly put my head down and swiftly walk through the hallways. I hold up my schedule, and the next thing I know I'm already bumping into people.
I fall backwards and my books go flying all over the hallway. I look up at the person I bumped into, and he is bent over picking up my books. He turns to me, hands me my books and says, "Hey. I'm sorry about that. I'm so scared being it's the first day. Anyway, I'm Aaron." He holds his hand out and I grab it as he helps me up.
I smile at him and he hands me my books. "What's your name?" He asks me. "Madison." I say. He smiles and says, "well Madi, it's nice to meet you. I hope we have some classes together."
And that's it. He walks really fast through the crowds. I almost want to run after him, but I decide to hurry to my locker before I'm late to class.
