I woke up around 9:00 am Sunday morning. I check my Instagram, Twitter, and my Messages like I always do. Something funny happened though, for a second I forgot that I moved. When I woke up I expected to wake up in my own bed. In my own room. I actually thought all of it was a dream. If I haven't moved, me and Alexis would probably be at the mall like we always did every Sunday. Sunday's are just different. Everyday from now on is going to be different.
I walk my downstairs with my phone and fix me some toast. My mom was in the living room watching a LifeTime movie. Alexis and Jack texted me in the group message and asked if they wanted to video chat. I just ignored the message. Not to be rude but because once I would see their face, I would probably cry.
Mom: "How did you sleep?"
I just ignored her considering I was disappointed that I woke up in this place.
Mom: "Listen Jasmine, your gonna have to suck it up because we are staying. We are never moving back.
Me: "But I don't want to be here!
Mom: "Look, it's for the best. I start work soon. I have a good job, I couldn't pass down this great opportunity."
I knew she was right. I took my phone and went upstairs forgetting all about the toast. I just couldn't stop thinking about tomorrow. My first day at my new school will be tomorrow. With new people I don't even know..
