Wings....

Investigating...

Excitedly I jumped out of the car and ran off into the woods shouting back to my mum and dad that I'm off to investigate. I've never run so fast infact it almost felt as though I was about to take off, almost like I had wings... After a while there was a clearing, I spun around to check out my surroundings and I couldn't even see our new house. I sat down gasping for air and started to look around me, I saw the most beautiful flowers ever! They were bright purple ombreing into a crimson red. As I leaned over to investigate the flowers I breathed in deeply enjoying the scenery then it hit me the smell was almost intoxicating it felt like I had just awoken every cell in my body all at once. I stood up and ran and skipped and screamed and shouted louder than ever before, I front flipped and back flipped and cartwheeled and rolliepollied until suddenly I blacked out. When I woke up it was dark, I turned around to see a pair off dark hazel eyes staring back into my own, I jumped up screaming. "Shush, shut up!!" A husky voice shouts as a hand clamps over my mouth. Instinctively I bit the unknown hand causing whoever it was to yelp and back off, as my eyes focused I saw a tall, tanned, hazel eyed, brown haired boy clutching his hand to his chest. "Who are you?" I shouted slowly backing off from this strange boy. "Hey, sorry about like that, you just looked so perfect sleeping..." I shot him the dirtiest look I could muster as my cheeks reddened. "Yeah so ermm... By the way I'm Forest, also known as your new next door neighbour." Now it was his cheeks that reddened as he cast his eyes down to his feet, where I saw a black pair of Converse (Brownie Point N1). "Okay.. But what the hell was that?!" I demanded.. As strange as this boy was he's pretty fine looking, okay forget that! He just laid next to me for god knows how long staring at me?! Whilst I was ASLEEP!! "Yeah okay this is awkward... I um I was out walking and I saw you at first I thought you were dead so I came to check and you were alive but I was just astonished by your beauty I had to sit with you a while, and then you woke up and bit me?!" He accused. "How dare you?!" I screeched, he was making it seem like I was the one who'd just laid next to him whilst he was asleep!! "Shush," he murmured, "theirs people sleeping." Wearily sunk back down to the floor as the tiredness hit me. He sat down next to me cautiously. "Wait a second, what happened? How do you fall asleep in the woods?" He giggled mocking me, not gonna lie his laugh was the cutest thing I've ever heard! "I don't really know, one minute I was running around doing flips and stuff and then I don't know I just blacked out I guess." He had a point I really didn't know what happened, slowly he looked behind me and pointed to the beautiful flower I was looking at when I first sat down. "Did you by any chance smell that?" He questioned. "Yeah, why?" I snapped defensively, "because their eternal rest flowers... If you pull the petal off and grind it beneath your fingers it sends you into the eternal sleep, the reason you blacked out was because you merely sniffed it. If you'd have like proper smelt it the results would have been fatal. So the simpler and less nerdy way to explain it is Stay Away From That Flower, it's dangerous okay?" "Okay." I whispered as I shuffled away from the deadly flower therefore bringing me closer to Black Converse, beautiful eyes, awesome hair, nice voice, clever, cute laugh, perfect teeth.. Big round lips.. OMG SKY WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?!!? NO!!! I scolded myself... But he's just so.. "Have I got something on my face?" He asked snapping me out of my day dream, "No, why?" I murmured still half in my day dream. "Because you spent the last like ten minutes staring at me and smiling?" Shit! I didn't realise I was staring at him!! Oh shitshitshit!! "Umm, did I?" I muttered as casually as I could, he nodded giggling at me, damn he has one fine laugh! He smiled as I blushed, he then jumped up and grabbed my hand pulling me up. "Umm where are we going?" I murmured as he took us through a huge maze off trees, suddenly I felt the pain come back in my back and I had to sit down, I slumped down on the nearest tree as a solitary tears strolled down my left cheek, as he turned around I quickly wiped it away a sudden spark off worry flashed in his beautiful eyes as he crouched down beside me asking if I was okay, I nodded hoping no more tears rolled down, luckily they didn't. He flashed me and Oscar winning smile and pulled me back up I winced at the sudden movement which earned me a confused glance from Forest. After another 15 minutes off walking around this wood we were at my drive I sneaked in through the front door and ran into my room tucking myself up and smiling at my experience, I've never felt this way. It feels like I'm on a huge rollercoaster and its on its way up and it's speeding up and speeding up and I'm scared but it's amazing, I catch myself wondering about him, until I stop and put on some Paramore and fell asleep to Breathe.
