I have returned, Like First We Met,
The other me has came and left,
No depression or anxiety,
No, nothing of that will hinder me,
The addictions slain and conquered,
No attention or no offer,
Will ever catch my eye, but you,
I am betrothed, on my honor, I do,
I have the will, I have the means
I need no crutch nor valiant steed,
For my legs can walk and jump and run,
From start to finish, I'll get things done,
I'll be your rock, I'll be your rope,
But I pray and pray and I bloody hope,
That your love for me has never left,
For I have returned, Like First We Met.
