...
"Joon please, just talk to me. Why is that so hard?" I yelled in pain. My heart ached at the feeling and sight of my boyfriend sitting on the couch crying. He kept muttering I'm sorry. His words on repeat. Namjoon finally lifted his head from his hands. His eyes puffy and red. I was speechless at his sight I thought the stress of work had gotten to him and he wasn't telling me about what was wrong,

But ... I was wrong, very wrong.

...

"Wow, I can't believe you've made it for three years now without dating anyone," stated Hoseok, my best friend. I smiled at him with slight irritation, "Hobi." I pause, "I've given up relationships you know that... and you know why too," I stated quietly shaking off the memory. Hoseok noticed. "He was an ass for putting you through that." He leans back onto the shop counter.

I sip my coffee watching the elderly couples enjoy each other's company. Hoseok watches me admire the scenes out the window of the coffee shop. He takes a quick breath, "Tell you what? Before I go back from break, let's go out tonight. What do you say?" He raises and eyebrow. I look in his direction and scoff.

"You can't be serious?!" My brows both narrowed. He smiles to me "I'm dead serious, let's party you need to let loose. It's been three years."

I shake my head in defeat, "Fine, but on one condition," Hobi smiles. "Okay?" I look him in the eyes. "You are not to get buzzed, drunk or wasted. I'm not leaving that place with some stranger and screwing myself over again." Hoseok's smile grows wider, "Deal!"

As my friend returns to work I check the time 9:45am. I sigh, Standing with my coffee in hand exiting the building. I catch a taxi and head to work.

Jungkook's POV

"Ah! Hyung? Uh- who was that girl you were talking to??" Hoseok smiles at me, with devilish intent.

"Someone I know, why?" He questioned glancing at me. I rustle my hair a bit biting my lip in nervousness, "I was just wondering- if she w-"

"Was single?" He interrupts. My cheeks flush red in embarrassment. Hoseok laughs at me a bit then straightens up. "Jungkookie the only way you'll get her is for her to be completely past wasted." I lower my head a bit upset by the way my hyung spoke. "So I wouldn't have a chance?" I ask a bit more quietly.

Hoseok changes his tune and apologizes for the way his words came off. "No Kookie, I meant it as she's pretty stubborn with dating she hasn't had a boyfriend in three years... because,,," his trailing off causes me to perk up in curiosity.

"Because what?" I look at him with big doe eyes. He shakes his head smiling the thought off. "It's nothing. Hey, she and I are headed to that club me, you and the others usually hit up. If you wanna talk to her come party," Hoseok winks at me walking away and taking care of customers. "What could he have possibly said?" I mutter to myself.

Reader's POV

I finish my day headed home getting a text as soon as I reach my front door. I look to see Hoseok being the one that messaged me.

{Hobi💜- Hey, don't forget about that one dress my sister and I took you to get. She said you look great in black. Plus I personally find it sexy on you. See you at 8:00~ 😘}

I smile to my phone and head inside. I set all of my things down on my couch walking up to my room. I grab the dress and my shower materials. I let out a long sigh looking at myself in the bathroom mirror. "We can do this. No funny business and definitely no tinder fucking..." I laugh at myself for trying to have my own personal conversation with me. Starting my shower I shave and wash my hair. Once out, I dry off brush my teeth and do my makeup. I check the time 7:30pm.

"I suppose I have time to eat something a
Then get dressed." I think out loud. I head to my kitchen and grab some of my left overs. As I ate I played on my phone for a bit, then my phone rang.

{unknown caller}

"What the hell? Wonder who this is."

Answering the phone was something I should have never done. "Baby?" His voice. It's- "Namjoon?" My voice shakes in heartbreak once again, then as his voice lights up I get angry. "Ah, it is you. I was so worried. I'm so sorry for hurting you. Please come back to me. I need you. I love -"
"Cut the shit." I spat coldly. "We both know that doesn't mean shit to you Joon, and neither does it to me." Without knowing Hoseok had come into my house using the key I gave him. "Hey, babe I'm here!" He shouts from the front door. Hobi calls me his babe in terms of that sexy friend you'd smash, but could never date based on your friendship.

"Who the fuck is that!?" Joon's voice raises on the other end of the line. I hesitate for a moment. "That's none of your business. Don't contact me ever again!" I shout my last sentence as I hang up the phone. "Who was that?" Hoseok asks with concern. I sigh letting a tear fall. He knew immediately who it was. "Alright let's go! He's hurt you enough and you need to let go of everything right now, okay?"

Hoseok grabs my hand pulling me up to my room. Grabbing my dress he hands it to me "Let's go." I quickly change and leave my house with Hoseok. He eyes me up and down biting his lip. "God, you're always so sexy in that dress. You should wear it more often." I roll my eyes giggling at his comment, "You're only saying that because you're horny." He smiles to himself satisfied, and grabs my thigh. "Just wait you'll have a good time tonight, I promise."
