I turned around only to see my good guy friend Billy. Billy had long black hair, and dressed in metal clothes. I smiled and relaxed that it wasn’t that creepy dude that was stalking me earlier. “Hey Billy, I thought you wouldn’t come.” I said hugging him. Billy laughed and pulled away from the hug. “Of course I would come. It’s almost Christmas break. I am leaving for Canada In a few days, so I guess why not.” We both laughed. Then, I see the mysterious man, from the corner of my eye, he was looking at Billy and I; and he didn’t look happy. I was terrified. Wait! Why am I afraid when I don’t even know this guy? But something is telling me that Billy might be going home with a black eye; or even worse. Dead. “Uh Billy, let’s go outside, it’s getting a little too crowded.” I said while holding his hand and pulling him with me as we find our way outside.

As Billy and I were weaving through the crowd, I looked behind me to see if the mysterious man was following us. And he was. I tried to move faster. “Whoa Shelby, what’s the rush?” Billy asked looking behind me. “I don’t feel good, can you take me home?” I asked. “Sure.” Billy walked me to his car and opened the passenger side for me, like a gentleman, and closed the door when I got in. He then ran to the other side and got in. “Ready?” He said as he started the car and buckled his seatbelt, and I did the same. As Billy drove off, I looked in the rear view mirror on my side to see if anyone was following us. I saw the mysterious man, standing in the middle of the road, smirking.

Once Billy dropped my off at my home, and made sure I made it inside safe, he drove off, and I was alone. I was in my room, with my black tank top on with my black underwear. (I don’t wear pants a lot around the house, or when my dad is not home.) I had the lamp on, curtains closed, everything shut off and all the windows shut, doors locked, and security alarm on. I was reading Edgar Allan Poe, with my hot cup of tea on my night table. As I was getting tired, I put my book away and turned off the light and went to bed. And that uneasy feeling never went away.

“Leave me alone!” I screamed as a presence was in front of me. “Do I scare you?” the mysterious voice asked in the darkness. I said nothing. “Answer me!!” he yelled. I started to cry. No matter how strong I was, this guy made me feel worthless.  “Yes.” I said weakly. Then, he laughed a wicked laugh.

Then, I felt him touch my face gently. It sent chills down my spine. “I will have you for myself my little pet. Just you wait and see.”

I wake up, complete darkness filled my room, except for the moonlight giving my room a faint glow. Then, I felt the stroke of the hand I had in my dream.

Soon my pet, very very soon.”

I gasped and turned on the light. Then, I felt a breeze come into my room. I looked at my window. My open window.
