A/an (Fave Animal) alarm blares out "7:30! 7:30! 7:30!" as the chibi animal sings greetings to a new day. The lump in bed shifts under the (f/c) sheets. Without warning, a doll next to the alarm becomes animated and gently presses the alarm's stop button. A content sigh comes from the small lump and snores so follow after. I wonder if I can sleep in today?, The girl wonders as she snoozes under the covers.
"(Nickname)! Time to wake up hun~", the child's mom, Saiki Kurumi, comes into the room. The six year old grumbled and held the sheets tighter. Kurumi did not give up and proceeded to try and wrestle the small psychic out of bed. She even went as far as to call her husband, Saiki Kuniharu, as backup. "She just won't budge!~", Kurumi placed a hand on her cheek in concern. "Don't worry honey! Leave it to me!", Kuniharu tried to march into the girl's room, only to find it was barakated by plushies and toys of all shapes and sizes. "(Y/n) dear, please come out", Kuniharu cooed. That's right, come on out here so i can squish your chubby cheeks!
A shadow suddenly loomed over him. A dark aura radiated behind Kuniharu, causing him to turn around and shriek. (Y/n)'s human sized teddy bear, gifted to her by a certain genius, glared at Kuniharu picked him up by the collar of his shirt. Kuniharu's scream was loud enough to wake Saiki Kusuo, (Y/n)'s older brother. "Good grief, does this have to happen every morning?", Kusuo shook his head and swiftly changed into his uniform and teleported inside his sister's room. As gently as he could, Kusuo shook his sister slightly. Once again, (Y/n) grumbled and tried to move away from her brother. "If you don't wake up now, i won't take you to get your favorite dessert", (Y/n) reluctantly sat up, fixing her bow like limiters, and made way to her small wardrobe as Kusuo left her room, signaling to his parents that the small girl was now awake. 'Thank you so much Kusuo!' , both adults thought in unison as the teddy bear was deactivated, no longer sensing the girl's displeasure.
No later than two minutes, the small patter of feet ran down the halls upstairs. Seeing the up coming staircase, (Y/n) jumped up and landed on the railing. Sliding all the way down, (Y/n) happily greeted everyone in her elementary uniform. The uniform's pastel colors matched her animal book bag. A mischevious look crossed her face as she slowly floated near the refridgerator, only to struggle opening the door. No (Y/n), you can have snacks later, (Y/n) gave a slight pout but sat down for breakfast any way.
^This is my little sister, Saiki (Y/n). Like me, she is a psychic just not as powerful. Currently, we know she can levitate, animate non-living things, direct telepathy without the whole "always hearing thoughts" portion, perfect copy which can copy psychic abilities after being shown and lets her alter those abilities activations, materialization, Invisibility which acts as a self defense mechanism, and xenoglossy which helps her communicate with foreigners.^
(Y/n) lightly played with her soft (f/c) hair as she levitated the empty plate and cutlery. This continued for a few minutes until it got a little out of hand and she accidentally sent a spoon towards her father's head.
(Y/n)'s POV
Papa groaned in pain, both hands covering the place where a bump soon formed. I sat stiffly and quickly placed the objects on the table. He won't know it was me but...Nii-chan! Don't tell please! Although I kept a straight face, I desperately pleaded for Suo-nii to cover for me. He hesitated so I swiped my hand across to the table to make a box of coffee jelly appear. Suo-nii immediately nodded and sent a spoon at Mama too. HOW WILL THAT COVER FOR ME? Mama groan similarly as Papa, only Papa laughed at Mama's pained expression. At that, a fight started between the two. I looked worriedly between Suo-nii and our parents. Suo-nii tapped my head and we appeared in an empty street near my school, Yume Academy. I tightened my grip on my book bag in nervousness. Suo-nii walked me to the entrance, patted my head, then left to his school.
I let out a sigh. With a deep breath, I walked across the long path way near the garden's in order to avoid other kids. I needed a bit more time to prepare. I spaced out and I eventually arrived to class 1-A. I let out a shaky breath and reach for the door, only to notice that my hand was invisible. Shoot! Not now! I forced to reappear and quickly entered the room after a good two minutes of just staring at the door knob. I hope no one saw, I don't want to trouble Suo-nii. I sat in my seat clearly labelled with my name Saiki (Y/n). As I set my things down, I suddenly felt a familiar pair of eyes staring at me. I braced my self as I heard the person's intentions. "(Y/N)-CHAN!!!", the person rammed themselves into my awaiting arms. "Good morning (Y/n)!", the child's arms wrapped loosely around my neck in a loose hug. I gave them a small smile and a pat on the head, "Good morning Komiya-san". The raven haired boy shook his head in embarrassment.
Author's POV
"(Y/n), why do you have to be so formal? We're friends, you know?", (Y/n) just nodded in acknowledgement but didn't see the point of correcting herself now. "It's because we are friends that I treat you with respect", at that moment, the small psychic accidentally activated her telepathy. Only to hear the entire class's thoughts, Hime-chan's Respectful Combo Move. Some even went as far as to hold a hand to their chest at the sight of the radiant smile. 'Good grief, you better not come home in a relationship (N/n)', Saiki sent as he was busy avoid his so called 'friends'. 'I won't but you might~', (Y/n) teased, feeling reassured that today would be a smooth day in school.
