Peltwings are a fan tribe I literally came up with on the spot today. - These four winged dragons have Leporian origins, and are likely related to Rabbitwings and Glidewings. They now inhabit an island known as Hamariyi. They are usually very proud and independent dragons who don't accept help easily. Because these dragons have thin scales that don't protect them from damage all that well, they craft themselves a full suit of armour made out of the fur, skin and bones of an animal. Much like icewings they have a rank system, dragonets start out wearing herbivore pelts (rabbits and other small rodents) and slowly work their way up the ranks. The ones at the top wear apex predator pelts (bears, wolves, etc) instead of a queen they have a chief who doesn't necessarily have to be female.
